Puan and AHY Meeting, Agreed to Continue Political Communication for the Good of the Country

Chairperson of the PDI Perjuangan DPP Puan Maharani meets Democratic Party Chairperson Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) at Plataran Hutan Kota, Senayan, Central Jakarta. The meeting lasted for 1 hour.

“Earlier, the meeting lasted for more than 1 hour. It doesn’t feel like that before if I don’t remember when I wanted to continue chatting. It turns out that there is a lot to talk about, you can be like brothers and sisters, earlier Mas AHY said ‘Miss, can I treat you like an older sister’ ‘Yes, yes,’” said Puan during a press conference with AHY on Sunday (18/6).

According to the chairman of the DPR, the meeting with AHY was warm.

This meeting, Puan added, was of course eagerly awaited by various parties.

Puan said that he and AHY talked about politics and how to build the nation in the future.

“Of course this meeting has been eagerly awaited not only by the media, by us too that building the nation and the state is not only talking about practical politics but there is before, after and after what it will be like,” said Puan.

Both agreed to communicate further.

“And we agreed that this should not stop here, talking about politics does not mean then stopping until it seems as if it is finished, but because politics is indeed full of dynamics, very dynamic, of course to reach a common ground in the middle it takes time. to keep talking, but if you never meet, never talk, there will always be miscommunication,” he said.

Puan hopes that the 2024 election will run peacefully.

“We hope that the election in the future will be a peaceful election, a happy election, an election that can prove that the people’s democratic party is the party of all Indonesian people,” he concluded.
