The High Priest of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) Community Habib Rizieq Shihab did not go home as the presidential election drama ended until the trial at the Constitutional Court. Until now the fate of Habib Rizieq has not been able to guess. He still chose to stay in Saudi Arabia even though it was considered overstayed by the Arab kingdom.
Previously it was reported that Dahnil Azhar Simanjuntak said, better reconciliation was also carried out by repatriating Rizieq from Mecca to Indonesia.
Even though the Indonesian Government never ordered Habib Rizieq and his family to leave Indonesia.
Although Rizieq Shihab is currently in Saudi Arabia, but over the past few years, it has also been proven that he has not been deterred from blowing out his provocative sentences. Even the provocative action was still heard during the 2019 election campaign.
He is also one of the opposition figures who often criticizes government policies. Of course it will be funny if an opposition asks for help to be able to return to Indonesia. Moreover, the opposition often provokes and has a track record as the source of riots in Indonesia.
However, if later Habib Rizieq is picked up to return to Indonesia, it should not be a guarantee of reconciliation, but as a form of Habib Rizieq’s accountability for alleged violations of the law ever alleged.
That is, please leave Habib Rizieq home on his initiative, provided he has to show his gentleness when the door of his house is visited by the police.
If you look at the reason for the departure of Habib Rizieq to Saudi Arabia, it is certainly irrelevant if the Government must try to repatriate the FPI CBO frontman, because it is clear that there is no connection between the 2019 presidential election and Habib Rizieq’s non-repetition to Indonesia.
Golkar Party politician Andi Sinulingga also argued that it was truly irrelevant if reconciliation efforts between Prabowo and President Jokowi were linked to providing return guarantees for FPI High Priest Habib Rizieq Shihab.
He actually suspected that the request to guarantee the return of Habib Rizieq Shihab was a personal interest from Dahnil Anzar. Andi said that the guarantee of returning the FPI High Priest had nothing to do with political conditions in Indonesia.
It is precisely the whereabouts of Habib Rizieq that often makes the political atmosphere in Indonesia become cloudy, how it is not murky, the lecture only had offended the Sundanese, Pancasila and minority ethnic groups in Indonesia.
Therefore, reconciliation efforts should be a moment of unity between Jokowi and Prabowo who had fought in the 2019 presidential election. Jokowi had said that he would remain friends with Prabowo, during the 2019 Presidential Election debate. Jokowi and Prabowo often shook like best friends.
So that reconciliation should be carried out without conditions that have no correlation with political events such as the 2019 Election.
If FPI and its sympathizers long for the figure of Habib Rizieq, of course they can raise funds to pay the fine overstaying Habib Rizieq and his plane ticket to return home.
Because after all, Habib Rizieq, who did not return home, was not a matter for the government who had never ordered the High Priest to go to Saudi Arabia.
Prabowo’s camp along with the BPN and its sympathizers, should be able to emulate the attitude of his lord Prabowo – Sandiaga who behaved legowo on the decision of the Constitutional Court (MK) Judge.
Rather than suspecting the government that made Habib Rizieq difficult to return, Prabowo’s camp and sympathizers were better focused on being a healthy opposition. Because the opposition’s energy will be expected to criticize the Jokowi-Ma’ruf Amin government in the future.
Because if we reflect on SBY’s government for 10 years, the position of PDI-P becomes an opposition party and is always outside the government. This shows that being an opposition is not a bad thing in a democracy.
However, if the reconciliation effort is only required to repatriate a person who has a track record of making democracy murky, should Jokowi’s side be considered as the winner of the 2019 Presidential Election?
If indeed Habib Rizieq will remain on the path of opposition, he and his sympathizers should not become spoiled Opposition, who fled to Arabia but asked for help to return to Indonesia, in short the terms would make Habib Rizieq an “Tuman” opposition figure.
