The Indonesian National Army (TNI) and the National Police of the Republic of Indonesia (Polri) as security forces in the country continue to strive to establish synergy in promoting war to fight the black campaign during the implementation of democratic parties and political contestation, namely at the General Election (Pemilu) in 2024.
In an effort to always maintain order and security ahead of the election, First Assistant Police Inspector (Aiptu) Iyang Hendriyana, Bhayangkara Security and Community Order Advisor (Bhabinkamtibmas) in Suganangan Village, Ciawigebang Police, Kuningan Police, West Java Regional Police, together with other related parties continue to carry out sambang activities. to the local village government.
Of course, it is not without reason that these activities continue to be intensified. All of them aim to further strengthen the synergy of security and public order (kamtibmas) and encourage them to work together to always maintain conduciveness ahead of the upcoming democratic party.
Apart from that, security forces from joint TNI and Polri personnel also carry out voter education outreach (Sosdiklih) in order to prevent the public from becoming absent and also continue to provide advice so that the public always increases their own awareness of the threat of black campaigns or black campaigns. .
Several things that can be categorized as a black campaign itself are a campaign model by creating a particular issue or gossip without being supported by clear facts and evidence. This can also be said to be slander, which constitutes a quite serious threat to the implementation of the 2024 elections.
Therefore, the security forces continue to emphasize how important it is for the public not to be easily provoked if they encounter any issues, especially in the world of social medicine because anyone can create an issue very easily. Moreover, on social media itself, the spread of hoaxes and black campaigns often occurs.
So that when the public encounters any issue that they feel is very disturbing and disturbing, they should try their best not to be too quick to swallow it whole, especially if they then contribute to spreading it because it is the same as adding to the chain of fake news or hoaxes that are widely spread.
The entire community is also invited to be able to create conditions for the 2024 General Election in a safe, peaceful and dignified manner. Meanwhile, Ciawigebang Sector Police Chief (Kapolsek) Adjunct Police Commissioner (AKP) Ayi Sujana emphasized how strong the security apparatus from the joint TNI and Polri personnel had a very strong commitment to upholding neutrality in the implementation of the democratic party.
With the strong synergy between the TNI and Polri security forces, it is hoped that this will be a very positive example for the community in their efforts to create a conducive environment ahead of the 2024 General Election.
On the other hand, the National Police, TNI and the East Java (Jatim) Provincial Government are also intensifying security simulations ahead of the upcoming 2024 elections. Regarding this matter, the East Java Regional Police Chief, Inspector General of Police (Irjen Pol) Toni Harmanto said that his party would not only anticipate security in the field, but also monitor for black campaigns which are usually found on social media.
Several steps have been taken by the authorities in this regard, namely by intensifying publications and socializing the dangers of circulating fake news or hoaxes, as well as continuing to remind all people in Indonesia and carrying out cyber patrols on social media so that if they find something disturbing or threatening, they can immediately respond to it. resolved well.
Not half-hearted, even the security forces ensure that they will immediately take very firm action if violations are found related to the upcoming 2024 General Election, including if there are parties who spread fake news (hoaxes) and also carry out black campaigns.
These strict enforcement steps include imposing sanctions in the form of criminal penalties, to downgrading or taking down uploads if uploads are found that are deemed to violate applicable regulations in order to continue to uphold the quality of democracy in the country.
All of these steps are carried out every day by the security forces tirelessly so that anticipation can occur to the fullest and carry out a takedown as soon as possible so that the spread of hoax news and also black campaigns does not become more widespread in society and the chain of distribution can be immediately broken.
Regarding how to carry out security measures in a number of vulnerable points in the country during the 2024 elections, the security forces ensure that they will continue to concentrate and also adjust how they escalate in each area so that they can use the right approach.
However, of course, to be able to ensure smooth operation at several vulnerable points, the security forces themselves need some equipment support. Therefore, the involvement of community leaders and also religious leaders is very important so that the election can take place safely, orderly and peacefully. The synergy of all parties including the TNI and Polri to unite in fighting the black campaign is something that deserves to be highly appreciated.
