Indonesian athletes have again shown their brilliant achievements in the 14th IESF esports championship which is part of the Indonesia Esports Summit (IES). In the CS: GO Women game, the Indonesian national team won 3rd place in the world.

The CS:GO Women team that won the bronze medal consisted of a number of well-known esports athletes. They consist of Dhammamitta Marvella, Aulia Brilian Putri HAC, July Kusuma, Risalma Agnia, and Daltha Amelia Dwiguna.

This victory was confirmed after the CS:GO Women’s Indonesian National Team recognized the strong Argentine team which was strengthened by professional athletes in this number with a score of 2-0.

Indonesia has won a number of wins in the IESF World Championship Bali 2022 esports world championship. This cannot be separated from the role and support of PB ESI in supporting the Indonesian Esport National Team in the Championship.

Regarding this, the Head Coach of the Indonesian National Team who is also the Deputy Head of Athletes, Achievements and IT of the Indonesian Esports Council (PB ESI) Yohannes P Siagian, said he was proud of the achievements his team had achieved.

“Congratulations for the best achievement and struggle that has been shown by the CS:GO National Team. This is a very proud achievement for the entire Indonesian nation,” said Yohanes.

Yohannes explained that the Indonesian National Team was no less skilled, but the opposing team was from a country with a very active CS: GO competition.

Apart from that, Yohanes added, their achievements indicate that the potential for Indonesian athletes in CS: GO Women is still very large.

“Hopefully with this achievement, the CS:GO competition in Indonesia can be active and lively again,” he said.

The Indonesian team’s victory in the championship is a form of PBESI’s commitment to developing Indonesian esports.

Inevitably, PB ESI’s success in producing outstanding athletes as well as in organizing the Indonesia Esport Summit has received a lot of appreciation from many parties, including from the President of IESF, Vlad Marinescu.

“The 14th Esport World Championship in 2022 which is currently being held in Bali is extraordinary. All Esport families in the world are very enthusiastic about coming to Bali to take part in this event.” Marinescu said.

Of course, this recognition makes Indonesia very proud. Moreover, there is hope that with the success of the IESF Bali 14th WEC in Bali 2022, it can help boost the growth of the creative economy and also the tourism sector in the country.
