CIDISS – after id fitri, the homecomers from hometown in Java starts to back to Kalimantan. The homecomers use many transportations access to central Kalimantan province. One is sea access by Panglima Utar harbor in Kumai, Kotawaringin Barat regency, Central Kalimantan province.
Chief of operational PT Pelni Pangkalan Bun, Saipul Ghouzi said that they assumed the homecomers will be come to Kalimantan by Panglima Utar harbor, especially to Central Kalimantan.
It is because the ticket from Semarang or Surabaya (java) to Kumai has been sold for 70%. “The ticket has been sold for 70% and it will increase for a few moment close to departure date,” said him
He explain, on Wednesday (5/7/2017) there will be 2 ships, KM Awu ship from Surabaya and KM Egon ship from semarang will lie to Panglima Utar. Egon ship carry 708 passengers and Awu ship carry 1.649 passengers. It amount about 2.357 passengers.
In other side, government gives special attention, in order to make comfortable the passenger who harbor in Panglima Utar.
