Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia (HTI) has been officially banned in Indonesia since July 17, 2017. The move was taken after a government study of HTI’s breakthroughs and lunge. The most fundamental thing is that HTI has proven to develop the Caliphate concept as an effort to replace Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution. A variety of activities and movements within the community aim to instill khilafah in living the life of the nation and state. In this way they invited the public and the people to replace the 1945 Constitution and the Pancasila, changing the system of the NKRI state into the Khilafah Islamiyah.

The government’s quick step to dissolve HTI should be appreciated because it has taken a strategic step to save the nation. HTI is openly and proven not to recognize Pancasila which is the Indonesian-Indonesian philosophy as the basis of the state. Obviously this cannot be tolerated and wise action must be taken immediately.
Behind the rejection of HTI’s dissolution, it is necessary to know that Hizb ut-Tahrir was previously considered a banned organization in 21 countries. Indonesia is late to dissolve the international political organization. But like the words of the wise, better late than never. It cannot be denied that in the chaos of global conflict is the fruit of HTI’s actions which spark horizontal and vertical conflicts in the community.

Indonesia is a country inhabited by various differences, ranging from religion, ethnicity, race, culture and customs, etc., but Indonesia remains one within the framework of the NKRI. For HTI, the concept of the NKRI is an enemy because it is not in line with the understanding of those who want to unite everything into a khilafah understanding. They continue to try to spread hatred against the government, divide the unity of the nation’s elements and ultimately take over legitimate governmental power, to make the Indonesian state part of the Caliphate.

Although HTI organizations have been banned, personally and non-formal HTI groups are still alive. The activists are still in the midst of our society. They move to spread the HTI understandings to various elements of Indonesian society, social and religious groups, political groups and even to government institutions. Of course this condition is very dangerous for the survival of Indonesian nation and state.

On the basis of Islamic colors that are strongly attached to HTI organizations, the activists are relatively easy to approach the Indonesian majority Muslim community. In order to defend the interests of religion, the community is often unaware that it is in the process of being embraced by HTI understanding.
HTI is suspected of infiltrating fanatical Muslim groups. One of them should be watched out for is on the earth of the Mecca porch. Islamic culture that is strongly embraced by vulnerable Acehnese people for the development of HTI there. But it’s not as easy as that to take advantage of the situation. The Acehnese are very experienced in filtering out new understandings, especially those related to fundamental Islam.

The prolonged conflict that had occurred in Aceh made Acehnese aware that holding fast to Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution was the key to living peacefully and peacefully. Do not return the old wound back to the mecca porch. The danger of debating the ancestral philosophy of the nation has been felt to be dangerous. Clinging to the full guidelines of nationality proves that Aceh can rise again from decades of deterioration due to political conflict due to the basis of religion.

But we must not be complacent, the threat never subsides. HTI is around us. Narrow thinking that pits against fellow nation children is always fostered by those who do not want progress. No exception in the land of Aceh which has a great historical contribution to this glorious nation. That the impact of the Acehnese peace pact last year had already been felt. Never make the earth a mecca as a sacrifice of HTI ferocity. Strengthen and strengthen the spirit of nationalism for the advancement of the nation towards Indonesia’s strong and victorious optimism.
