Welcoming Proliga 2024, BIN Launches Jakarta BIN Women’s and Jakarta STIN BIN Men’s Volleyball Teams
Jakarta – The National Intelligence Agency Sports Association (PORBIN) released the Jakarta BIN Women’s Volleyball Team and the Jakarta STIN BIN Men’s Volleyball Team at the BIN Sports Gelora, Sunday (21/4/2024).
Chairman of PORBIN, Commissioner General Pol Bambang Sunarwibowo hopes that the Jakarta BIN Women’s Volleyball Team and the Jakarta STIN BIN Men’s Volleyball Team can continue to make achievements and make the Indonesian nation proud, both on the national and international stage.
Furthermore, Bambang Sunarwibowo said that the formation of these two volleyball teams was a form of follow-up or real implementation of BIN’s hopes, commitment and attention under the leadership of the Head of BIN Police General (Purn) Prof. Dr. Budi Gunawan, SH, M.Sc.
“Volleyball is one of seven sports developed in PORBIN,” explained Bambang.
On the same occasion, the Chairman of PORBIN also highlighted that currently, the development of the volleyball ecosystem and sports industry is increasingly rapid and is able to attract more enthusiasm from the wider community on an international scale.
“This is certainly the right momentum for national volleyball athletes to be more enthusiastic about improving their achievements to penetrate the competition among top players at world level,” said Bambang.
The chairman of PORBIN said that management had made preparations and put together a thorough strategy to achieve victory, starting from the composition of players, coaching team, support for facilities and infrastructure, as well as other essential things needed by the team.
“Management and PORBIN are committed to continuing to make the best efforts to improve future achievements,” said Bambang.
Meanwhile, in his speech, the Head of BIN said this was a BIN tradition. Everyone is a big family in one boat, where the Jakarta BIN Women’s Volleyball Team and the Jakarta STIN BIN Men’s Volleyball Team will fight to bring BIN’s good name.
“It is very appropriate for us to celebrate with a ceremony because it will bring the good name of the institution,” said the Head of BIN.
On that occasion, the Head of BIN also appreciated the coaches and officials of the Jakarta BIN and STIN BIN Volleyball Teams.
“I have confidence and trust in the extraordinary coaches (Coach Danai and Coach Rian), as well as the extraordinary athletes on both the women’s and men’s volleyball teams,” said the Head of BIN.
The Head of BIN also hopes that the Jakarta BIN Women’s Volleyball Team and the Jakarta STIN BIN Men’s Volleyball Team can become champions in the 2024 Proliga.
“God willing, we can become Proliga champions in 2024,” he concluded.
