The Launch of the Men’s and Women’s Volleyball Teams is Proof of BIN’s Commitment to Realizing the Development of National Volleyball Athletes
Jakarta – Head of the State Intelligence Agency or KABIN Police General (Ret.) Prof. Dr. Budi Gunawan, SH, M.Si inaugurated the Jakarta BIN Women’s and Jakarta STIN Men’s Volleyball Teams on Sunday (21/4). The event took place with great fanfare at the Rajawali Sports Hall (GOR), Mako BIN, Jakarta. The inauguration also shows BIN’s commitment to developing national volleyball athletes who are expected to excel abroad.
In his speech, Ka BIN continued to raise a high fighting spirit to achieve victory and glory for the Jakarta BIN Women’s Volleyball Team and the Jakarta STIN Men’s Volleyball Team. We can definitely do it, good luck to the BIN volleyball team. Apart from that, Ka BIN also hopes that with the gathering of the stars in the Jakarta BIN Women’s Volleyball Team and the Jakarta STIN Men’s Volleyball Team, this can become a full team with national athlete status.
“If in England there is Manchester City, in Germany there is Bayern Munich and various other clubs. “So we want Indonesia to be known for its STIN BIN and JAKARTA BIN Clubs which are volleyball clubs studded with stars both nationally and internationally,” said Head of BIN.
Apart from that, Police General (Ret.) Prof. Dr. Budi Gunawan, SH, M.Si also expressed optimism that the Jakarta BIN Women’s and Jakarta STIN Men’s Volleyball Teams, which are full of star players, will be able to achieve many achievements.
“As the BIN family, we want to have one determination and one goal, to become pro-league champions in 2024. I really believe in the 2024 proliga if everything goes optimally. “We will definitely be champions,” said Head of BIN.
The Jakarta BIN Women’s Volleyball Team and the Jakarta STIN Men’s Volleyball Team are sports clubs under the auspices of the BIN Sports Association (POR BIN) which was formed at the end of 2022, and successfully made their debut at the elite level last season.
On the same occasion, Chairman of the BIN Sports Association, Commissioner General Pol. Drs. Bambang Sunarwibowo, SH, M.Hum, said that the formation of the Jakarta STIN BIN Men’s Volleyball Team and the Jakarta BIN Women’s Volleyball Team was a form of follow-up or real implementation of the hopes, commitment and attention of the State Intelligence Agency under the leadership of Police General (ret. ) Prof. Dr. Budi Gunawan, to improve coaching and welfare for national volleyball athletes, so that they can continue to excel and make the name of the Indonesian nation proud on the world stage.
Police Commissioner General. Drs. Bambang Sunarwibowo, SH, M.Hum also added that the BIN volleyball team has recruited the best volleyball athletes,
not only at the national level, but also at the
international level. They were selected for approximately one month
starting from February 11 to March 1 2024.
It is hoped that the increasingly rapid development of the volleyball ecosystem and sports industry
will be able to attract more enthusiasm
from the wider community on an international scale. This
is certainly the right momentum for national volleyball athletes to
be more enthusiastic about improving their achievements to penetrate
the competition among top players at world level.
