Aceh – The construction of the Aneuk Muda Aceh Unggul Hebat (AMANAH) Building in Aceh continues to show significant progress. The Commitment Making Officer (PPK) of the Aceh Perkim Center, Agung Prakoso, revealed that the project had reached 96.02% as of September 9, 2024, after passing 41 weeks since the contract signing on November 17, 2023. Although there was a deviation of -3.98% from the initial target, the construction is expected to be completed in the near future in preparation for the inauguration.

“The progress of the AMANAH Building construction has reached 96.02%, slightly lower than planned, but we are optimistic that we can complete this project on time,” said Agung Prakoso. This project involves PT Ardi Tekindo Perkasa as the winner of the tender for the physical construction of the building, and PT Ciriajasa Engineering Consultan KSO as the winner of the tender for construction management.

Agung also explained the details of the progress of work in several buildings in the area, such as the Multifunction Building which is currently finishing painting the walls, auditorium ceilings, and cleaning the rooms. The Main Building is currently in the stage of installing ceramics, door and window frames, and painting. Meanwhile, the Boys’ Dormitory and Girls’ Dormitory are in the process of plastering, installing ceramics, and painting.

To speed up the completion, the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) will increase control and supervision in the field. “We have prepared a timeline for the next 12 days so that all remaining work can be completed,” Agung added. In addition, his party also ensures smooth payments for each construction item.

The Director of Building Development of the PUPR Ministry, Cakra Nagara, emphasized the importance of quality and neatness of work in the field. “A number of building columns need to be repaired because they look untidy. In addition, the paving block area must be reinstalled with materials that meet standards,” he said.

Cakra also stated that his party will increase the number of supervisors and workers, and ensure that there are no delays in materials that could hinder the acceleration progress. “We have coordinated with Waskita to support additional workers to accelerate the completion of the AMANAH Building,” he explained.

The PUPR Ministry emphasized that fines will be imposed if there are delays in accordance with the latest addendum, with the threat of blacklisting for contractors who do not meet the target.
