This program is designed to hone the creativity of participants in designing and making carnival costumes, as well as giving them the opportunity to compete in costume design.

This costume making event includes two main components, namely the carnival costume design competition and costume making training. From the many participants who submitted designs, only 10 of the best designs were selected to receive in-depth training from experts for three days at the Attorney’s House, Gampong Lamlagang, Banda Aceh. The costumes that have been produced based on these designs will be exhibited at the inauguration of AMANAH’s new building scheduled for early September 2024.

The costume-making program organized by AMANAH provides a valuable opportunity for young designers to showcase their talents and support the development of practical skills that are crucial in the arts and fashion industry. Participants such as Inal Akhyar from Bireun expressed their gratitude and enthusiasm for the opportunity given, admitting that they were greatly helped and motivated after receiving guidance from AMANAH.

In addition, AMANAH also holds various other trainings and workshops aimed at expanding the knowledge and skills of young people in Aceh. For example, in the costume training session, participants had the opportunity to learn directly from renowned designers such as Ade Sugriwa, who also displayed costumes from the Solo Batik Carnival.

With its dedication to supporting the development of local arts and culture, AMANAH serves as an important platform for the young generation of Aceh to create, innovate, and optimize their potential. These programs not only improve the skills and knowledge of participants but also open up new opportunities in the creative industry that can help them achieve success in the future.

In addition to being a forum for empowerment in the arts, AMANAH also held the ‘Barista Champ 2024’ competition at the Talent Korner BPVP Banda Aceh, which attracted hundreds of participants from various regions. This event, a collaboration with ASKI (Indonesian Coffee Association) DPD Aceh and BPVP, is one of AMANAH’s efforts to empower the young generation of Aceh and prepare them for the future.

AMANAH is committed to being a forum that supports the development of participants’ skills and knowledge, which will ultimately expand their opportunities in the world of work.

The selection process begins with a strict stage that filters the 48 best participants.
