President Joko Widodo is known as a national leader who has various excellent programs aimed at improving the quality of life of the Indonesian people, one of the important focuses is youth empowerment, especially in Aceh. The Excellent Program in question is the Aceh AMANAH program. This program is specifically designed to improve the creativity and skills of youth in Aceh, which is part of Jokowi’s commitment to advancing the economy and creativity of the Acehnese people. On October 15, 2024, President Jokowi inaugurated the Amanah Building so that it can further accommodate the talents and talents of Acehnese youth in various fields.
AMANAH Aceh empowers Acehnese youth through various initiatives that support the development of skills, creativity, and entrepreneurship. The program covers various aspects, from technical skills training to coaching small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
Head of the Aceh Tamiang Cooperative, SME and Industry Service (DISKOPERINDAG) Ibnu Azis, S.Km, M.Km. explained the great opportunity for young people to become entrepreneurs in the midst of today’s digital system. In addition to educating UMKM actors towards independence, it will also facilitate the obstacles faced by UMKM actors, both in terms of product promotion, marketing, and capital.
The AMANAH Aceh program provides skills training that is relevant to the needs of the current job market. This training covers a variety of fields, including information technology, handicrafts, and creative design. In addition, AMANAH ensures that Acehnese youth have access to high-quality education. With relevant skills and adequate education, Acehnese youth are expected to be able to compete in the job market and create new job opportunities.
In addition to skills training, the AMANAH program also focuses on entrepreneurship development. With this support, Acehnese youth are expected to create innovative and sustainable businesses, which in turn can improve the local economy.
The AMANAH Aceh program also involves the development of creative infrastructure, such as creative centers and co-working spaces. This infrastructure is designed to provide space for young people to collaborate, create, and develop their ideas. With the supporting facilities, young people in Aceh can more easily access the resources they need to realize creative projects.
One of them, AMANAH facilitates the young generation to work in the field of music and audio production. In addition to providing a music studio with sophisticated equipment, they also hold training to optimize its use.
A participant in the music and audio production training from AMANAH, Ridho Brilian, said that his party was very grateful for the facilities that had been provided to continue to improve the creativity of Acehnese youth, the infrastructure and instructors presented in the training were very competent.
The materials studied include how to operate a digital mixer and also the use of Digital Audio Workstation (DAW). Professional instructors brought in from Jakarta also introduced the use of rooms in the AMANAH music studio. Namely, the rehearsal room, vocal room and monitoring room, each of which is quite large.
The existence of the AMANAH Building is expected to increase the creativity of the young generation of Aceh, especially in the field of music and audio production. Ridho is also optimistic that President Joko Widodo’s flagship program can advance the economy of the people.
The program engages youth in various social and community activities, encouraging them to contribute to the development of their communities. By participating in social activities, Acehnese youth not only develop their skills but also build a sense of responsibility and leadership that is important for the future.
This is a form of providing and providing real support for facilities for MSMEs, creative industries, and young people in order to improve the economy in Aceh and as a forum for all forms of ideas, creativity, and aspirations.
The AMANAH Aceh program has shown positive impacts since its launch. Many young Acehnese have benefited from skills training and business mentoring, and they are beginning to see real results from their investment in self-development. Small businesses supported by the program are starting to grow and contribute to the local economy, creating new jobs and improving community welfare.
In addition, this program also plays an important role in reducing unemployment in Aceh. With relevant skills and entrepreneurial opportunities available, more Acehnese youth are able to find jobs or start their own businesses. This not only helps address the problem of unemployment but also promotes more inclusive economic growth in the region.
With a strong commitment from the government and support from various parties, the AMANAH Aceh program has great potential to continue to provide positive impacts. It is hoped that this program will become a successful model in efforts to empower youth in other regions in Indonesia.
