Appeal from the Acting Governor of Bali, Sang Made Mahendra Jaya Regarding Preparedness for the 10th World Water Forum
Bali – The Acting Governor of Bali, Sang Made Mahendra Jaya, emphasized that Bali is ready to support the holding of the 10th World Water Forum (WWF) in 2024. This statement was delivered at the final coordination meeting (Rakor) of the WWF national committee which was held at The Laguna Resort and Spa, Nusa Dua, Badung.
During the meeting, Mahendra Jaya ensured the readiness of all elements of Balinese society to make this international event a success.
“We can report that the regional government and all elements of Balinese society are ready to make the WWF a success. This is a matter of pride and trust given to Bali as the location for the event,” said Mahendra Jaya.
In order to maintain public security and order in the Bali region, especially from 18 to 25 May 2024 because there is a world-class water forum, the public is advised to take several steps.

Previously, the National Police Chief, Police General Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, M.Si., together with Bali Police Chief Inspector General Pol. Ida Bagus Kade Putra Narendra, SIK, M.Sc., was also present at this coordination meeting. They emphasized the importance of synergy between the National Police, TNI, and related stakeholders in carrying out centralized police operations codenamed Operation Tri Brata Agung-2024, which will last for ten days from 17-26 May 2024.
“The National Police is ready to secure the 10th World Water Forum as a guide. The existing SOPs are in synergy with the TNI and other stake holders. “This World Water Forum (WWF) event is a bigger event than the G20, so the National Police together with the TNI will carry out optimal security,” said the Bali Regional Police Chief.
