Great appreciation should be given to the government’s efforts to carry out equitable development and development of human resources to the economic welfare of the people in Papua, especially through the inauguration of the Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH) building which was carried out directly by President Joko Widodo.
The construction of the PYCH Building has the main goal of being able to continue to increase the development of the many potentials possessed by the younger generation in the Land of Papua, which will also have an impact on increasing the welfare of the people in Cenderawasih Earth.
Because it has many good benefits for the revival of the Papuan people, the Indonesian Millennial Student Alliance (AMMI) gives such high appreciation to the President of the Republic of Indonesia (RI), Joko Widodo (Jokowi) regarding the concern he has for the young generation in Cenderawasih Earth.
AMMI coordinator Nurkhasanah said President Jokowi was very focused on developing the quality of human resources (HR) for young people. Papua is no exception. according to him, the concern that President Jokowi has is not just in words, but is actually manifested in concrete forms and real work.
Nurkhasanah assessed that Indonesia’s current development is oriented towards equal distribution of the national economy. Not only on the island of Java, but also on islands that were previously neglected. Of course, for him, President Jokowi’s leadership style is considered very different from the previous government, which is now being able to provide a platform for creative youth communities.
According to Nurkhanah the PYCH building also has rooms for MSME products, there is also a PYCH cafe, training rooms, meeting rooms, multipurpose rooms, rooms that can be used for co-working spaces. The facilities in the PYCH building are indeed very complete.
The construction of the PYCH building is one of the Indonesian Government’s efforts to continue to support the role of the younger generation in managing all the potential that Papua has. Furthermore, the central government supports the development of creativity centers to provide more space for Papuan and West Papuan youth in the development of technology, innovation and local Papuan products.
Related to organizing the event, the Papuan Youth who is also the CEO of the “Bajalan” application, Aksamina Woisri stated that the participants were even trained by professional photographers. The HR development activity is the provision of material and hands-on practice aimed at providing new knowledge about studio photography.
It should be noted that the construction of the PYCH building in Papua was a directive, idea and support from the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo, and BIN Head Gen. Pol (Purn) Budi Gunawan, which was then followed up by BIN Deputy IV for Economic Intelligence, Made Kartikajaya.
Meanwhile, a young Papuan from Manokwari, Simon Tabuni said that the PYCH building would be a place for young people to develop themselves, their interests and talents so that they could contribute to advancing the Land of Papua. The Papuan youth thanked President Joko Widodo and Head of BIN Budi Gunawan, for the planned construction of the PYCH building.
The inauguration of the PYCH Building led by President Jokowi deserves a very high appreciation. Not without reason, because with the inauguration of the PYCH building that was carried out, automatically the development of all the potential of the young Papuan generation will be increasingly realized, not only that, but they will also contribute to the welfare of the economy of the people of Cenderawasih Earth.
