Aceh – The Aceh Unggul and Hebat Young Aneuk Program (AMANAH) initiated by the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) is intended as a talent development center for young people in Aceh, which includes training and development of interests and talents to entrepreneurship development as well as marketing.
With the inauguration of the AMANAH building on October 15, 2024, it will be a legacy from President Jokowi for the people of Aceh. AMANAH is here as an answer to the needs of Acehnese youth as a place to express and channel their interests, talents and talents.
BIN will continue to provide its support in developing talents and interests as well as creativity to innovation owned by young people of Aceh. With many programs in Amanah, including art works of various souvenirs typical of Aceh, culinary, designers, modeling, journalism training, content creators to photography.
Meanwhile, the Acting Regent of Aceh Besar, Muhammad Iswanto, said that the construction of the Aceh Youth Creative Hub or AMANAH Central Building, which has very complete facilities, aims to advance the independence of young people.
“There are 9 areas built such as a multi-function building, main building, male and female dormitories, prayer room, greenhouse building, distillery, ground water tank and generator house,” said Muhammad.
Muhammad hopes that with the AMANAH building, young people will receive training to increase their independence, competence and professionalism to become young entrepreneurs or business people.
“Hopefully, in the future, Acehnese youth will also be introduced to how to manage and market products digitally, including utilizing technological developments in developing their businesses,” he said.
The Chairman of the Syiah Kuala University (USK) Business Development Agency, Syaifullah Muhammad, said the same thing, that the presence of the AMANAH Central Building with complete facilities could be a new economic driver in Aceh.
“The program initiated by the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) is very helpful for the young generation in the field of start-up businesses,” said Syaifullah.
With the presence of this multifunctional building, it can improve the abilities of the young generation in the creative fields, research and technology, entrepreneurship, creative industry, education, literacy, culture and also language, he added.
“Hopefully this activity will become a new economic movement, especially for young people in Aceh to become new business startups in Aceh, and become a youth economic movement, especially for commercial patchouli products,” he concluded.
Meanwhile, one of AMANAH’s volunteers, Atha Fayyadh, said that AMANAH is President Joko Widodo’s flagship program in the field of youth empowerment in Aceh. The goal is to cover as many Acehnese youth as possible from various creative economic fields.
“One of the programs for Acehnese youth engaged in empowerment, with a focus on several sectors. Such as agriculture, fisheries, and many more,” concluded Atha.
