Community and Youth Leaders Invite the Public to Accept PSU Results

Jakarta – In the spirit of maintaining a healthy and peaceful democracy, a number of community leaders from various regions in Indonesia have called on the public to accept the results of the Re-vote (PSU) wisely and with maturity. This invitation was conveyed following the implementation of the PSU in several regions determined by the Constitutional Court (MK) due to violations in the previous election process.
SASUAI Millennial Chairman, Ulul Azmi expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the implementation of PSU in Pasaman Regency which ran safely, orderly and smoothly. He emphasized the importance of the presence of residents at the Polling Stations (TPS) as a form of responsibility in determining the leader who will continue regional development.
“I appreciate the people who have come to the TPS. Because this is a regional head election, an election of leaders who will continue development in Pasaman Regency,” said Ulul.
Meanwhile, the Head of GP Ansor Empat Lawang, Defi Albusyairi appealed to the public to be expected to give the highest appreciation for the smooth PSU process. The public is also asked to appreciate and accept the results of the PSU as part of a joint commitment in building a dignified democracy.
“The public is expected to give the highest appreciation to the PSU process, because of its smooth implementation. The public should appreciate and accept the results of the PSU as part of a shared commitment to building a dignified democracy,” he said.
In East Java, the implementation of the PSU was orderly and safe. The Head of the Magetan KPU, Aang Kunaifi said that in order to ensure a fair and transparent democratic process, the implementation of the PSU had run smoothly and was worthy of appreciation, considering the challenges faced and the complexity of the logistics involved in its implementation.
“We are conducting total monitoring and assistance to the election organizers in implementing the re-vote. Maintain the authority as part of the organizers and carry it out with full responsibility,” said Yuliyanto.
The call from these community leaders reflects a shared commitment to maintaining stability and peace in the democratic process. They hope that the community can accept the results of the PSU with an open heart, avoid conflict, and together build their respective regions for the common welfare.
The implementation of PSU safely and peacefully is an important achievement that should be appreciated by all elements of society. Amidst political dynamics and various technical challenges, all parties, from election organizers, security forces, to voters, have demonstrated democratic maturity.
This condition shows that Indonesian democracy is increasingly mature, with all election participants able to restrain themselves and respect each constitutionally determined stage.
