Cultivating the Creative Economy Spirit of Young People, President Jokowi Inaugurates the AMANAH Building
Aceh – President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo will inaugurate the Aneuk Muda Aceh Unggul dan Hebat (Amanah) Building in Ladong, Aceh Besar Regency. The inauguration will be a historic moment for the young generation of Aceh. The building is designed as a center for developing creativity and innovation for young people.
AMANAH Building is equipped with various modern facilities designed to support creativity and innovation. One of its leading facilities is the Packaging House, which functions as a center for developing packaging designs for creative products by young Acehnese, such as perfumes, tumblers, and various other craft items.
The Student Executive Council (DEMA) of IAIN Takengon together with AMANAH Aceh, and the Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises Service of Central Aceh Regency held an MSME seminar at the IAIN Takengon Campus Hall.
The event, attended by hundreds of students and UMKM actors, was held in the form of delivering very interesting and relevant material to the current situation. The goal is for the younger generation to be able to foster an entrepreneurial spirit, especially IAIN Takengon students.
President Jokowi, through the AMANAH program, continues to provide facilities to young people in Aceh so that they can develop their potential in various fields in order to increase regional economic growth.
This was conveyed by the General Chairperson of DEMA IAIN Takengon, Alwin Rezeki, who said that this UMKM seminar aims to foster innovation and understanding related to entrepreneurship so that young people in Aceh can upgrade themselves.
“This activity is to foster a mindset to continue to innovate that utilizes local potential. As well as providing understanding and continuing to upgrade for entrepreneurs,” said Alwin Rezeki.
The seminar was also filled by competent speakers in their fields, including Taniro Jaya, SIKom, MAP as Head of Cooperative and SME Empowerment and Ihsanuddin, ST as the owner of Ulunuwih Coffee.
Meanwhile, Alwin said that Central Aceh is an area with great potential in tourism so that it can be an opportunity for UMKM actors.
“Considering that this area (Central Aceh) is an area that has great potential in tourism, of course there will be a lot of people coming here, this will certainly create opportunities for entrepreneurs,” explained Alwin.
The MSME mentoring program carried out by AMANAH is certainly in line with the government’s grand vision, especially in terms of empowering the people’s economy. President Joko Widodo has long encouraged people-based economic growth by prioritizing the development of the MSME sector as a driving force for the national economy. Alwi hopes that this activity will be able to produce new young entrepreneurs in Aceh.
“Then, with this activity (UMKM AMANAH seminar), we hope to produce many new entrepreneurs who are able to provide many innovations and create jobs in the future,” he concluded.
