In an effort to overcome the gap, the Nusantara National Capital (IKN) project has succeeded in attracting investment interest from other countries, one of which is the Danish Government which claims to be interested and is even ready to explore potential investment.

Of course, the potential for investment activity in IKN Nusantara is very high and strategic because the work on this project so far has not been haphazard at all with many innovations implemented in it. So it is not surprising why it has succeeded in attracting investment interest from Denmark.

In particular, the Danish side admitted that they were very ready to provide assistance not only for the implementation of the IKN Nusantara project, but also so that there would be no imbalance in development with the surrounding regions or in other words in an effort to overcome the gap.

Regarding this matter, the Danish Ambassador (Ambassador) to Indonesia, Sten Frimodt Nielsen, visited the Province of East Kalimantan (Kaltim) in person to be able to see more closely how the National Capital (IKN) Archipelago project was being developed and at the same time wanted to explore investment opportunities and contributions. they can give.

Responding to the interest of other countries, the Acting Governor of East Kalimantan, Akmal Malik, said that Denmark had deliberately entered IKN through the local Provincial Government (Pemprov) with the aim of seeing the extent of the buffer zone’s readiness.

According to him, parties from the country nicknamed the Nordic Country hope that there will be no gaps or disparities between IKN and the buffer zone, namely the surrounding areas.

Therefore, before these bad conditions occur, for example there is an imbalance between IKN and the buffer zone, Denmark is committed to providing assistance by sharing input and thoughts regarding how the buffer zone should play a role.

Not only that, but the Danish Government is also very ready to help East Kalimantan Province, especially in matters and various environmental issues. The disparity or gap that they are worried about will certainly not be far from social, economic and cultural matters.

IKN buffer areas such as Balikpapan, Samarinda, Kutai Kartanegara, North Penajam Paser and Paser, all of these areas will become buffers for IKN in the long term.

So far, in the development of the National Capital City in East Kalimantan, the Government of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) has also tried various ways to overcome potential inequality or inequality.

One of them is the collaboration between the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture (Kemenko PMK) and the IKN Authority, where both have agreed to establish good cooperation to mitigate the risk of social inequality that might occur there.

Deputy for Coordination of Social Welfare Improvement of the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture, Nunung Nuryartono, said that the data for Targeting the Acceleration of Elimination of Extreme Poverty (P3KE), which will also be utilized by the IKN Authority, is clearly capable of providing a very vital contribution as a basis for mapping social welfare programs for all residents living in the region. The city state of the archipelago.

By using this database, the IKN Authority will be much more precise in formulating affirmative policy instruments that are much more targeted. Not only that, but this data can also be a basis for ministries and institutions that will collaborate in the development of the National Capital City in accordance with their field of work in the human development life cycle.

Meanwhile, Deputy for Socio-Cultural and Community Empowerment at the Archipelago Capital Authority (IKN), Alimuddin, said that it is very necessary to plan social issue risk mitigation as early as possible so that the vulnerability of social inequality does not widen.

Moreover, when the design for all risk mitigation is correct long ago, then the main goal of IKN to be able to achieve zero poverty or eliminate poverty and zero stunting or eliminate stunting rates will be achieved optimally.

Efforts to achieve the ultimate goal of building the National Capital of the Archipelago in East Kalimantan will also go hand in hand with service sectors such as hospitals, schools and other supporting industries which will start operating as soon as possible along with the transfer of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) there.

On the other hand, the President of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) Joko Widodo (Jokowi) also emphasized that the government is carrying out the IKN development megaproject in order to overcome the problem of economic inequality between regions in the country.

The government really wants the development paradigm in Indonesia to no longer be Java-centric or only centered and prioritize Java Island, but rather for development to be Indonesia-centric or evenly distributed throughout all corners of the archipelago.

Therefore, the Government has actually made efforts to overcome gaps between regions since the beginning of the concept of developing the IKN Nusantara. This makes foreign parties very interested in being able to invest their capital or join in investing, like the Danish Government.
