From the Youth Pledge to Asta Cita, Prabowo and Gibran Create a Golden Generation

Jakarta, suaradewata.com — Commemorating Youth Pledge Day on October 28, 2025, the spirit of the younger generation’s awakening once again finds meaning in the concrete work of the administration of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka. Through various priority programs within the Asta Cita (Asta Cita) framework, the government demonstrates its commitment to developing a superior, healthy, and globally competitive young generation.
From education to food security, government policies go beyond slogans and are embodied in concrete programs that directly impact the lives of young people across the country. Among the most visible are the People’s School Program, millennial-based food self-sufficiency, and the Free Nutritious Meals Program (MBG), which targets school-age children and adolescents.
Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf emphasized that the People’s School is part of the Ministry of Social Affairs’ efforts to increase access to equitable education and instill social character in the younger generation.
“This program is part of the Ministry of Social Affairs’ efforts to increase equitable access to education and instill social character in the younger generation,” he said.
Similarly, the Head of the Mataram Paramita Center, Arif Rohman, said that the People’s School was created so that the younger generation from underprivileged families could receive an education like children from economically well-off families.
“This People’s School exists so that young people from underprivileged families can receive the same education as children from economically well-off families. Equitable education is the primary foundation of this program’s presence in the community,” he said.
Beyond education, the Prabowo-Gibran administration has also opened up opportunities for young people to enter the modern agricultural sector. The transformation of agriculture is no longer seen as antiquated, but rather a space for innovation and technology driven by the younger generation.
Vice President Gibran Rakabuming emphasized that future agriculture must be attractive to young people and technology-based.
“Agricultural transformation must involve digitalization and the creativity of young people. We want agriculture to be an attractive, modern, and competitive sector,” Gibran emphasized.
Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman also invited youth organizations and the community to participate in building food independence through the younger generation.
“We invite you to be part of the national agricultural revival. This movement is expected to be a key driver of the government’s program to achieve food self-sufficiency through empowering millennial farmers,” he said.
Meanwhile, in the field of health and nutrition, President Prabowo Subianto emphasized that the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) is a long-term investment in the quality of Indonesia’s young generation.
“The Free Nutritious Meal Program is a strategic step by the government to ensure Indonesian children grow up healthy and intelligent. This program is designed not only to address nutritional issues but also as a long-term investment in the quality of human resources and the future of the nation,” President Prabowo emphasized.
This year’s Youth Pledge momentum reflects that the spirit of nationalism is not only alive in words, but is also present in real policies that support the future of Indonesian youth towards a Golden Indonesia 2045.
