Inaugurated by President Jokowi, AMANAH Becomes a Container for Developing the Creativity of Aceh’s Youth

ACEH — Aneuk Muda Aceh Unggul Hebat (AMANAH) has been inaugurated by President Joko Widodo. The inauguration was carried out by President Jokowi at the Amanah Building, Aceh Besar Regency accompanied by the Head of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), Budi Gunawan; Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian and several other officials, Tuesday, October 15, 2024.

Before inaugurating the AMANAH Building, the Head of State first went around to see various stands of works by young people from Aceh. President Jokowi also interacted with young people from AMANAH from various backgrounds, ranging from young entrepreneurs, young farmers, artists, content creators and other young creative activists. President Jokowi admitted that he was amazed to see the innovation and creativity of young people in Aceh.

“I see it as very creative and innovative, whether in fashion, especially Muslim fashion, design, it is truly very classy, ​​in my opinion very classy,” praised President Jokowi.

Indonesian President Joko Widodo said that superior human resources (HR) are one of the efforts in facing various challenges, ranging from economic uncertainty, geopolitics, to the impact of climate change.

“Our key is how we can create superior human resources, so that we can compete with other countries,” said President Jokowi.

“Today I am truly amazed by the innovation, the creativity of the young people in Aceh who I see are very creative and innovative, whether in fashion, especially Muslim fashion, design, it is truly very classy, ​​in my opinion very classy,” he said.

According to President Jokowi, AMANAH’s products such as fashion, food and beverage (F&B), and other products have advantages that world-class products do not have.

“AMANAH bag products are not inferior to world brands, then related to coffee, in Aceh it is very famous, what we see, since I worked in Central Aceh, I saw that the exports were still in raw form, grains, but the leap that I saw today, is already in packaged form. Everything is extraordinary, indeed anything if given to young people will definitely be good,” he added.

Aneuk Muda Aceh Unggul dan Hebat aims to encourage the creativity of young people by preparing themselves to become individuals who can compete. In the future, with the existence of the AMANAH Building, it is hoped that it can make young people explore themselves more in their respective fields and interests.

“The leap is not inferior, it just depends on how to consistently polish and hone it so that new innovations emerge in Aceh Province, I really appreciate the initiative from BIN (State Intelligence Agency) which has prepared this, and we hope that in all provinces there will be Creative Hubs like this,” he concluded.

Meanwhile, the Head of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), Police General (ret.) Prof. Dr. Budi Gunawan appreciated President Jokowi’s performance in equitable development in Indonesia. Prof. Dr. Budi Gunawan invited all parties to be proud of the products produced by AMANAH because they have advantages that other regions do not have.

“One of the patchouli products that is one of the best products in the world is in AMANAH. This product is marketed directly to France and has established cooperation and become a supply chain for the beauty sector such as perfume there,” said Prof. Dr. Budi Gunawan.

“Next, with the presence of AMANAH, Aceh coffee can live again with markets for Korea and Japan. Then, to meet the needs of rice in West Aceh and East Aceh Districts, it is no longer necessary to depend on neighboring provinces, but can be cut for the supply chain to be carried out directly in the district,” he added.

Seeing this phenomenon, Prof. Dr. Budi Gunawan said that President Jokowi has represented the voice and aspirations of Aceh’s youth to build a forum to develop innovation and creativity of the younger generation.

“This is all thanks to the concern of Mr. Joko Widodo, thank you sir, we represent the voices of aspirations from the youth of Aceh. Today’s moment is very historic for the youth of Aceh, being able to interact directly with the President and whenever you come to Aceh, this AMANAH Youth Creative Hub is a home for all your children,” he explained.

The Head of BIN hopes that AMANAH will bring hope for the future of young people to be more prosperous, prosperous and advanced.

“All the progress they have made is the fruit of the success of young people who can be obtained as charity from President Joko Widodo. AMANAH will always be remembered as a mandate from Mr. Jokowi for the future of Aceh, they see through this AMANAH bringing hope for their future to be more prosperous, prosperous and advanced,” he concluded.
