Inaugurating AMANAH in ACEH with KaBIN, President Jokowi: Aceh’s Young People Are Very Creative
Aceh – President Joko Widodo inaugurated the Aneuk Muda Aceh Unggul Hebat (AMANAH) Building in Aceh on Tuesday (15/10). During the event, the President was accompanied by the Head of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) Police General Prof. Dr. Budi Gunawan, SH, M.Si., Ph.D.
On that occasion, the head of state expressed his appreciation for the enthusiasm and creativity of the young people of Aceh who are members of AMANAH.
“Today I am truly amazed by the innovation, by the creativity of young people in Aceh who I see are very creative and innovative,” said President Jokowi at the AMANAH Building, Ladong, Aceh Besar.
President Jokowi stated that Aceh has great potential in terms of local business development.
“Aceh’s strength in my opinion is coffee, second is patchouli. This should be the focus of concentration, the provincial government, the district government so that the development of commodity goods is really considered,” said President Jokowi.
Not to forget, the President also appreciated BIN’s role in empowering the younger generation.
“I really appreciate the initiative from BIN (State Intelligence Agency) which has prepared this, and we hope that in all provinces there will be Creative Hubs like this,” concluded President Jokowi.
In the same place, Head of BIN, Budi Gunawan said that AMANAH Youth Creative Hub is one of the results of President Jokowi’s thoughts to empower young people in Aceh.
“To date, 20,256 Acehnese youth have been registered as members of AMANAH,” said Budi Gunawan.
Budi Gunawan also highlighted the superior products produced by AMANAH, including patchouli, whose quality is known as one of the best in the world.
“President Jokowi has seen AMANAH’s products firsthand, especially patchouli. Large perfume producers rely on Aceh patchouli, and AMANAH already has clear buyers and markets,” he added.
Furthermore, the Head of BIN explained that all the progress that has been achieved is proof of the success of Aceh’s young people, which according to him can be considered as a continuous charity from President Jokowi.
“AMANAH will always be remembered as Mr. Jokowi’s mandate for the future of Aceh,” said the Head of BIN.
The inauguration took place lively and was attended by a number of ministers from the Advanced Indonesia cabinet, including TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto, National Police Chief General Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi, and community and government figures from Nangroe Aceh Darusalam.
