The inauguration of the Aneuk Muda Aceh Unggul Hebat (AMANAH) Building in Aceh will be a historic moment that marks the presence of a new center to support and develop creativity and innovation among the younger generation. The inauguration of this building is not just a formality, but a symbol of a strong commitment to encourage the growth of the creative economy and increase the active participation of young people in the development of their regions. The AMANAH building is designed as a center for innovation, training, and collaboration that will unite local creativity with modern technological advances.
As part of the AMANAH program, the building will be a place for various initiatives aimed at empowering the younger generation. One of the innovative steps taken by the program is the holding of handicraft training at Fitri Souvenir, located in Garot Village, Indrajaya District, Pidie Regency. The location has long been known as a center for Acehnese handicrafts. Through this training, AMANAH seeks not only to provide practical skills to participants, but also to inspire them to innovate and utilize existing local potential more optimally.
The handicraft training held in Pidie is more than just a program to learn new skills; it is a platform for Aceh’s young generation to hone their innovation skills and understand how to market their products. In this training, participants are introduced to modern techniques in processing local materials, so that the resulting products not only have high sales value but also reflect the richness of Acehnese culture. In addition, they are taught the importance of using digital platforms as a means to market their products, which allows them to compete in a wider and more diverse market.
One of the local craftsmen from Pidie Regency, Fitriani, expressed her gratitude for the AMANAH Program. She said that many valuable skills were successfully obtained from the training. The support they received from AMANAH was very meaningful, because now they can compete with other superior products on the market. This training helped them to improve the quality of the crafts they produce. Fitriani’s opinion reflects the hopes and enthusiasm that are growing among other craftsmen, who are now increasingly confident in innovating.
Not only focusing on handicrafts, AMANAH is also active in organizing events aimed at encouraging creativity among young people. One of the latest activities is AMANAH Go To Campus, which is held in collaboration with Teuku Umar University (UTU) in Meulaboh, West Aceh. This event attracts the attention of thousands of students from various majors and backgrounds. With the theme ‘Yang Muda Yang Berkerasi’, this event presents a number of inspirational figures, including singer Ghea Indrawari, actor Harris Vriza, and content creator Teuku Mail, who share their experiences and motivation to the young generation of Aceh.
UTU Vice Rector II, Prof. Nyak Amir, welcomed the event with great enthusiasm. He expressed his belief that the AMANAH program is very much in line with the university’s vision in developing students’ potential as a whole. According to him, this program not only provides opportunities for students to learn, but also facilitates them in exploring and honing skills that are relevant to the needs of the times.
Prof. Nyak Amir explained that the presence of the AMANAH Building, along with the various programs offered, is a great source of inspiration for students. He believes that with adequate facilities and support from various parties, Acehnese youth will continue to develop into creative and innovative individuals. In his view, the AMANAH program will encourage students to think critically and dare to innovate, which in turn will provide positive contributions to their communities and regions.
Furthermore, Prof. Nyak Amir emphasized that this shows how important collaboration is between higher education and initiatives that support the creativity of the younger generation. Prof. Nyak Amir believes that the synergy between the academic world and programs such as AMANAH can create an environment that supports the growth and development of Acehnese youth, so that they are able to compete at the national and international levels.
AMANAH Go To Campus activity is not just a discussion, but also a place for participants to develop their skills. With in-depth discussion sessions, art performances, dances, and poetry performances from UTU students, this event created a dynamic and inspiring atmosphere. The enthusiasm of the participants was clearly visible, especially during the game session organized by AMANAH, which added joy and enthusiasm among students.
Meanwhile, Harris Vriza also expressed his joy at the event and spoke about the newly inaugurated AMANAH Building in Ladong, Aceh. He thanked AMANAH for organizing this activity. Harris stated that the AMANAH Building will be a place for people to discuss, collaborate, and complement each other. He hopes that all those involved can develop and run this program well, conveying it with enthusiasm.
With various initiatives and programs carried out, the AMANAH Building is expected to function as the main catalyst in encouraging the young generation of Aceh to innovate, develop skills, and make real contributions to the economic and social progress of Aceh. Through the combination of technological innovation, local creativity, and youth empowerment, AMANAH is committed to creating a brighter and more sustainable future for Aceh, as well as becoming a center that drives the growth of the creative economy in the region.
