Jakarta – The International Sustainability Forum (ISF) 2024 was held at the Jakarta Convention Center. In the series of events, a gala dinner was held at the National Monument or Monas area to welcome the heads of state and guests of honor of ISF 2024.
Vice President Ma’ruf Amin in his speech at the ISF Jakarta 2024 Gala Dinner said that Indonesia continues to strengthen international cooperation through strategic partnerships and multilateral initiatives, including through this forum.
“Indonesia’s commitment to mitigating climate change risks through full compliance with the Paris Agreement and the target of zero emissions by 2060,” said the Vice President.
Indonesia also focuses on green growth through local community empowerment and sustainable agricultural practices.
In addition, the Vice President emphasized the importance of synergy in formulating equitable global policies, with a guarantee of equitable sustainable economic development for vulnerable communities.
“The push to expand the role of international financial institutions in financing green projects in developing countries,” continued Vice President Ma’ruf Amin.
Vice President Ma’ruf Amin expressed his hope that the 2024 ISF forum would produce real solutions towards a more prosperous and just international community life.
Previously, Shinta Widjaja Kamdani, Deputy Chairperson of the Coordinating Maritime Affairs, Investment, and Foreign Affairs of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), said that the dinner tonight was a grand but warm event.
In addition to hosting leaders and participants, the gala dinner was held with the aim of introducing Indonesian culture to guests from various countries.
“We hope that all invited guests attending ISF 2024 will not only attend this event, but also feel the warmth of Indonesian culture that will be presented through this gala dinner,” he said.
