Jakarta – Indonesia Police Watch (IPW) appreciates the fast and strategic steps taken by the Chief of Police, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, in realizing the grand vision of President Prabowo Subianto’s government, especially the 7th Asta Cita, which emphasizes the eradication of drugs, corruption, and online gambling as a whole.
This effort is seen as real evidence of the National Police Chief’s commitment to supporting the direction of national policy to create a clean, safe, and prosperous Indonesia.
IPW Chairman, Sugeng Teguh Santoso, stated that the National Police Chief’s firm and responsive policy is in line with the aspirations of the public who long for law enforcement without discrimination.
This is expected to support President Prabowo’s political mandate, which often emphasizes the importance of clean and corruption-free governance.
“We will continue to support and remind the Chief of Police to continue the cultural, structural, and instrumental reforms needed so that this step is sustainable,” said Sugeng.
IPW also noted the Police’s swift steps in combating online gambling and corruption as part of a comprehensive effort to create a cleaner climate in government and society.
The Chief of Police’s support for the reforms proposed by President Prabowo shows a new, optimistic direction for this nation.
“The wider community is expected to support and participate in maintaining the success of this effort, because eradicating drugs and other crimes requires collaboration from various elements of society,” he added.
