Indonesia is ready to hold the grand event of the Indonesia Sustainability Forum (ISF) 2024, which will be held in Jakarta on September 5-6, 2024. ISF is not only an international event, but also a strategic momentum for Indonesia to emphasize its role in building a sustainable green economy.
Soon, Indonesia will hold the grand event ISF 2024 and the committee continues to complete preparations for the event. Of course, the forum has an important meaning for Indonesia. Regarding this, the Deputy for Infrastructure and Transportation Coordination of the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Rachmat Kaimuddin, emphasized that ISF 2024 will bring together world leaders, CEOs of multinational companies, and sustainability experts to encourage business breakthroughs in addressing climate change issues.
As is known, in the last few decades, the issue of climate change has become a major concern at the global level. Various natural disasters that have occurred have further strengthened the urgency to take real action in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. According to Rachmat, most global greenhouse gas emissions come from business and industrial activities. Therefore, the private sector has an important role in this sustainability agenda.
Therefore, the business world can no longer sit back. They must dare to step forward, innovate, and lead the process towards a greener future. ISF 2024 is the right event to strengthen collaboration between the public and private sectors, with the aim of building a more inclusive and sustainable future.
ISF 2024 is an official event organized by the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Kemenko Marves) and supported by the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin Indonesia). The event is expected to be attended by more than 8,000 participants, making it one of the largest sustainability events in the Asia-Pacific region.
