Jakarta – The Jakarta BIN women’s volleyball team managed to win the 2024 Proliga title after defeating Jakarta Electric PLN in the final match which took place on Saturday night (20/7/2024).
In this match, Jakarta BIN led by head coach from Thailand, Danai Sriwacharamaytakul showed a dominant performance, beating their opponent with a score of 3-2 (25-21, 25-20, 22-25, 21-25 and 17-15)
Manager of the Jakarta BIN Women’s Volleyball Team, Supandi, said that this victory
was presented by the Jakarta BIN women’s volleyball team to the Head of BIN Police General (Ret.) Prof. Dr. BUDI GUNAWAN, SH, M.Sc., Ph.D., PSM, who has been committed to coaching volleyball.
“BIN continues to be committed to coaching and developing sports, especially volleyball,” said Supandi.
This victory marks an extraordinary achievement for Jakarta BIN, which is the second time it has participated in the Proliga. They managed to win the title, breaking the dominance of the established teams that had dominated the competition.
The success of the Jakarta BIN women’s volleyball team seems to confirm the optimistic predictions of the Head of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), Police General (Ret.) On the same occasion, Chairman of the National Intelligence Agency Sports Association (PORBIN) Komjen Pol Bambang Sunarwibowo revealed the secret behind the team’s success.
“The BIN volleyball team has recruited the best volleyball athletes, not only at the national level, but also at the international level,” he explained.
Bambang also emphasized the maturity of the team’s preparations.
“Armed with the previous Proliga evaluation, management has made preparations and formulated a mature strategy to achieve victory,” he concluded.
The Jakarta BIN Women’s Volleyball Team together with the Jakarta STIN BIN Men’s Team are sports clubs under the auspices of the BIN Sports Association (POR BIN) which was formed at the end of 2022.
With the end of the 2024 Proliga, Jakarta BIN has established itself as a new force in the national women’s volleyball scene, giving a new color to the competition and increasing competition for the seasons to come.
