Jayapura – The young generation of Papua would like to thank President Jokowi and BIN who are committed to supporting development and inaugurating the Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH) building.
This was conveyed by a young Papuan leader, Vitha Faidiban, who assessed that PYCH had been built magnificently and had a variety of complete facilities to support the creativity of children in the land of Cendrawasih.
“On behalf of the young Papuan people, I would like to thank Mr. President Jokowi and the Head of BIN, Mr. Budi Gunawan, for his kindness and love for the Land of Papua, so that we were given the opportunity to occupy this building,” he said.
Meanwhile, the CEO of Bajaj, Aksamina Woisiri said that the PYCH building would be used and utilized to help accelerate the welfare of the people in the Land of Papua.
Aksamina explained that the PYCH building was decorated with a number of typical Papuan ornaments, including a wooden statue. The building is also equipped with a number of facilities, including a futsal court with synthetic turf and a basketball court.
In addition, there is room for MSME products, PYCH cafe, training rooms, meeting rooms, multipurpose rooms, rooms that can be used for co-working spaces, to rooms in the form of stands with a capacity of hundreds of people for shows, religious events and others.
One of the creators of the “Bajalan” application will also introduce a number of useful applications for the community, especially young people.
These applications include Containder, which is an application for digital-based waste management. Then, the Tabea application makes it easier for students to find scholarships. Then the MTN (Papua Talent Management) application which integrates all young talents in Papua.
“There is also the Sindi application, which is an application linked to Bappenas for complaints from the public,” continued Aksamina.
As information, the PYCH building which was inaugurated by President Jokowi on Tuesday (21/3) has a main building consisting of two floors, and two dormitory buildings. The building will be equipped with 100 Mbps internet speed with symmetrical 1:1 upstream downstream bandwidth. There is also CCTV up to the control room.
The two dormitory buildings consist of 46 rooms with complete bed facilities, wardrobes, en-suite bathrooms and more. Each room has a capacity of two people, so the dormitory can accommodate up to 96 people. The building is also equipped with a centralized fire alarm system in the control room, connected to all speakers inside and outside the building.
