National Strategic Projects are mandatory to continue. The sustainability of the national strategic project is expected to be able to move the wheels of the economy by and absorb new workers.
Indonesia continues to develop even during the pandemic. The reason is because if you do a lockdown and projects just close, it will be dangerous for the wheels of the country’s economy. Therefore, the national strategy projects will continue, so that the state’s finances are safe and healthy, because these projects will yield huge profits.
Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto stated that national strategic projects could open up new job opportunities. The proof is that projects that have been completed can recruit no less than 11 million workers. In the sense that the number of workers is very large so that it is profitable for the Indonesian people who need new jobs.
Minister Airlangga continued, national strategic projects began in 2016 and as of November 2021, 124 projects had been completed. President Jokowi has promoted many projects to build Indonesia to be more advanced. With development, we are optimistic that this country will become an Asian tiger and be strong in the economic field.
During the pandemic, national strategic projects also continued to advance, because their implementation was in accordance with health protocols. Instead, projects are continued in order to save this country during the pandemic. The project does not cost the state money, it will be profitable so that we don’t fall into a terrible recession status.
The advantage of this project is that it is a labor-intensive system, aka done by many people. In a sense, this project is very important because it can help the government to reduce unemployment in Indonesia. Many workers are needed starting from the field, procurement, to supervisors.
Especially during the pandemic, many people have lost their jobs. If there is a national strategic project then they can apply for work there. They can get a new source of income for a bite of rice. The salary is also in accordance with the provincial minimum wage so that it can be relieved, because it fulfills daily needs with sufficient and lawful money.
Moreover, the project is held nationally, not only in Jakarta, so that there are greater opportunities to apply for Indonesian citizens throughout Indonesia. National strategic projects also require a lot of workers so that it opens up opportunities for many people to become employees there. The employee recruitment process is also based on fair standards and there is no KKN element there.
President Jokowi has indeed carried out equal distribution so that national strategic projects are not only carried out in the capital city, but also in various regions in Indonesia. This is in accordance with the precepts of Pancasila, namely social justice for all Indonesian people. Development must be fair because this country is not only Jakarta, but also has other areas scattered throughout.
With the existence of a national strategic project, this country will be more advanced, because a lot of infrastructure and public facilities are being built. One of the benchmarks of a country’s progress is its infrastructure. In addition, when the infrastructure is good, the economy will automatically improve, because it supports smooth mobility.
National strategic projects will continue even during the pandemic, because of the many benefits. One of the biggest positive impacts of this project is that it can absorb a lot of workers, and no less than 11 million people are absorbed by this project. National strategic projects also help the government to reduce the unemployment rate in Indonesia.
