Prabowo’s administration achieved a positive report card, prompting public satisfaction in the first half of 2025.
President Prabowo Subianto’s administration demonstrated positive performance in the first half of 2025. This was reflected in the survey results presented by Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs (Menko Polkam) Budi Gunawan in a joint meeting with the Coordinating Cabinet Ministers and the Indonesian House of Representatives on July 7, 2025.
Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Budi Gunawan revealed that the survey recorded public satisfaction at 81.2%.
“This survey recorded that the government achieved a blue report card in five main aspects: socio-cultural aspects (95.1 percent), national security (83.1 percent), political stability (70.8 percent), law enforcement (67.8 percent), and macroeconomic performance (67.4 percent),” he explained.
Budi Gunawan views these findings as a strong signal that collectively maintained political and security stability is beginning to bear fruit with increasing public trust.
Meanwhile, Gerindra Party politician Hendarsam Marantoko assessed President Prabowo Subianto as a strong man and a strong leader who brought the spirit of revolution in building the nation’s fundamentals with a system that sides with the people.
According to him, President Prabowo’s ideas are not actually new. They have long been expressed in his books.
“Now, that vision is starting to trickle down from the top and is truly being felt by the common people. Prabowo-Gibran are on the right track,” he said.
Hendarsam cited the example of how the food security sector is improving. Farmers are now feeling the benefits of government policies as the chain of middlemen is being broken.
In the energy sector, the government regulates distribution and management to ensure it continues according to the national plan. The Red and White Cooperative is said to have successfully disrupted the supply chain of subsidized goods, ensuring they reach the public more effectively.
He also emphasized that the Prabowo administration is known for its 3B characteristics—self-reliance, sovereignty, and strong bargaining power. However, all of these still require time and strategic steps to run optimally.
Political observer Hadi Suprapto Rusli also highlighted President Prabowo’s success on the global political stage, although challenges in the economic sector still require special attention.
“Mr. Prabowo always reminds us not to be complacent, but to continue conducting objective evaluations. The president’s positive image must be mirrored by the performance of ministers and program implementers,” he stressed.
