President Jokowi Appreciates BIN’s Initiative in Developing AMANAH in Aceh
Aceh – President Joko Widodo gave high appreciation to the initiative of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) which succeeded in building the Aceh Youth Creative Hub or known as the AMANAH Program (Amanah Membangun Aceh Hebat). This program is expected to be a new milestone in the development of superior human resources (HR) in Aceh, as well as a symbol of the importance of equitable development throughout Indonesia.
Head of BIN, Police General (Ret.) Prof. Dr. Budi Gunawan, SH, M.Sc., Ph.D., PSM, said that this initiative is part of President Jokowi’s commitment to ensure that development is not only focused on Java Island, but is evenly distributed from Sabang to Merauke. Budi Gunawan also emphasized that under President Jokowi’s leadership, this equitable development is increasingly evident, even in areas that were previously less accessible to major infrastructure development.
“President Jokowi is the president with the best approval rating in the world to date, and I think that is very reasonable. Although he comes from Java, his heart is for all of Indonesia. AMANAH is real proof that in his leadership era, development is truly evenly distributed,” said Budi Gunawan.
Furthermore, Budi Gunawan added that President Jokowi’s enthusiasm in encouraging the acceleration of development is very high. The philosophy of rapid and measurable development ala Bandung Bondowoso is the hallmark of his leadership. “If President Jokowi has given an order to build in Aceh, then the next day it must be implemented immediately,” he said.
President Jokowi himself sees the AMANAH Program as a concrete manifestation of the government’s efforts to create superior human resources that are able to compete at the global level. “AMANAH will always be remembered as a mandate for the future of Aceh. Through this program, we hope that new innovations will emerge that can bring prosperity and welfare to the people of Aceh,” said President Jokowi on a previous occasion.
The development of the AMANAH Program is also expected to be a model for other provinces. The Head of BIN hopes that similar Creative Hubs can be present throughout Indonesia, not only as centers of creativity, but also as a means of empowering human resources to support national economic growth. “The economic leap that we hope for will be achieved with superior human resources that continue to be honed and developed,” concluded Budi Gunawan.
With the AMANAH Program, the government is determined to make Aceh a center of creativity and innovation that is able to compete at the national and international levels, in line with the vision of Advanced Indonesia initiated by President Jokowi.
