President Jokowi Boosts Aceh's Creative Economy Through AMANAH

Aceh – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) continues to provide support for the development of creative economy and innovation for the young generation in Indonesia. One real manifestation of this support is the establishment of the Aneuk Muda Aceh Unggul Hebat (AMANAH) Building which will be inaugurated in the near future.

The AMANAH building is equipped with modern facilities designed to support creativity, such as training in digital content, music, audio production, and robotic technology. This facility aims to develop the capabilities of the young generation of Aceh in the fields of technology, art, entrepreneurship, and the creative economy.

One of the featured facilities in this building is the Packaging House, which functions as a packaging design development center for local products, such as perfumes and crafts, so that they can compete in the international market.

The Head of the Syiah Kuala University (USK) Business Development Agency, Syaifullah, stated that the facilities in the AMANAH Building would be an ideal platform for developing innovation in Aceh.

“The existence of the AMANAH Building will help improve the capabilities of the young generation of Aceh in various fields, including research, technology, entrepreneurship, and the creative industry,” he said.

Syaifullah added that this building also supports the development of local Aceh industry through various training programs involving superior regional products.

“With support from various parties, the AMANAH Building is expected to become a center of innovation that can drive the creative economy in Aceh,” he added.

In a different place, AMANAH Aceh and the Student Executive Board (DEMA) of IAIN Takengon, together with the Cooperative and UKM Office of Central Aceh, held an UMKM seminar at the IAIN Takengon campus. This seminar aims to foster an entrepreneurial spirit among students.

“This activity is to foster a mindset to continue to innovate that utilizes local potential. As well as providing understanding and continuing to upgrade themselves for entrepreneurs,” said the Head of DEMA IAIN Takengon, Alwin Rezeki.

Alwin also explained that Central Aceh has great potential in the tourism sector, which can be an opportunity for MSMEs.

“Considering that this area has great potential in the tourism sector, of course the opportunities for entrepreneurs will be even greater,” he said.

He hopes that this seminar will be able to produce many new young entrepreneurs in Aceh.

“We hope to produce many new entrepreneurs who are able to provide innovation and create jobs,” concluded Alwin.
