The President of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) Joko Widodo (Jokowi) continues to strengthen relations between parties after the 2024 General Election (Pemilu). Of course, reconciliation and consolidation are very important to restore national harmony.
Relations between parties which previously may have been a little strained and heated up during the implementation of the democratic party and political contestation, should now be able to be strengthened again.
Strengthening relations between parties is also fully and directly supported by the Head of State, President Jokowi. In the momentum of Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijriah, all elements should be able to re-knit ties of friendship in building this nation together.
Regarding this matter, the Minister of Communication and Information (Menkominfo) Budi Arie Setiadi considered that the holding of the house held by the seventh President of the Republic of Indonesia at the State Palace was the best moment in order to further strengthen relations between parties after the election, including political figures. as well as civil society at the grassroots.
All parties were in good and peaceful conditions, even the holding of the house at the State Palace also became a momentum for a friendly gathering for political figures full of warmth and cheerfulness.
For your information, the home event at the State Palace itself is the first time it has been held again after it had to be canceled for three consecutive years due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Not only ministers, but other officials were also present at the event, including ambassadors from friendly countries. The large number of political figures who attended showed that the Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijriah moment was indeed a very important event to continue to strengthen relations between figures after competing fairly in the General Election.
Because the democratic party and political contestation have been completed, now it is enough for all parties to just wait to see how the whole process goes, including welcoming the results of the presidential election dispute held at the Constitutional Court (MK).
Of course, the open house agenda at the Presidential Palace could be a good opportunity to re-establish relationships and ties of brotherhood after the 2024 election.
Political observer from Airlangga University, Cecep Hidayat, said that of course all parties have good hopes and are mutually optimistic that everyone is willing to open up to each other again to build brotherhood, want to re-establish communication and rebuild relationships that were strained due to the impact of the election.
Reconciliation and consolidation between parties is a very important asset to be able to rebuild the nation’s future and advance this country in the future together.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Planning (ATR) or the National Land Agency (BPN) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) stated that the Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijriah ceremony held by President Joko Widodo at the State Palace was a symbol of the nation’s strength in the future.
This is very important because the Indonesian nation has just finished holding the 2024 General Election (Pemilu). So the existence of this griya title shows that the leaders of this nation are able to solidly unite together with various figures and society to look at Indonesia full of optimism. Now is the best moment to carry out reconciliation and unite again to face a better future for the nation by working together.
On the other hand, Chairman of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) for Fatwa, Asrorun Niam Sholeh, also stated that the celebration of Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijriah was a very important momentum for carrying out national reconciliation after all people in Indonesia held the General Election (Pemilu).
In the current momentum of 1 Shawwal 1445 Hijriah, all parties should be able to make it a year of togetherness and brotherhood, as well as a moment of national reconciliation after being divided over differences in political choices some time ago.
Moreover, the momentum of togetherness in celebrating Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijriah itself is a very important point to reaffirm the commitment of all Indonesian people in building a country in which there is goodness and is also reflected in the behavior of its population.
The community should be able to celebrate the momentum of this Eid day by maintaining mutual interests as one nation even though there has just been a political contest. The existence of unity and oneness is an ethos and spirit in Eid al-Fitr that must continue to be upheld together.
Now is the time for everyone to forgive each other and unite again to build the interests of this nation towards a much brighter future and advance the country together because the five-yearly political contestation has indeed ended.
In realizing this, President Jokowi continues to strive to strengthen relations and ties of brotherhood between parties after the General Election (Pemilu) in order to create good reconciliation and consolidation.
