President Prabowo Reaffirms Anti-Corruption Commitment, Willing to Sacrifice for the Nation

Jakarta – President Prabowo Subianto has once again reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening law enforcement, particularly in eradicating corruption. He considers corruption a serious threat to the nation’s welfare.

President Prabowo emphasized that he is willing to make sacrifices, even to the point of giving his life for the Indonesian people, in order to combat corruption in the country. “We will prove that we are not playing around,” Prabowo said.

It is known that on December 24, 2025, the Attorney General’s Office (AGO) handed over confiscated state funds amounting to Rp6.6 trillion. The funds were the result of the work of the Forest Area Enforcement Task Force (Satgas PKH) in cooperation with the AGO.

Prabowo stressed that this achievement is evidence of strong cooperation between law enforcement agencies and the government, as well as a firm commitment to transparency and accountability. It also reflects that the state is fully serious about eradicating corruption.

In response to this commitment, former Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs Mahfud MD praised President Prabowo’s dedication to anti-corruption efforts throughout 2025. This, he said, is evident in Prabowo’s speeches, campaign messages, and the vision outlined in his book Paradoks Indonesia.

In the book written by President Prabowo, Mahfud continued, it is emphasized that law and justice are the primary prerequisites for the sustainability of the state.

“If commitment is understood as a statement and a promise, then President Prabowo’s commitment is very strong. Almost every day, his speeches contain warnings to corruptors and firm assertions that the law must be enforced,” Mahfud said.
