Jakarta – Property consultant, Strategic Director of Cushman & Wakefield Indonesia, Arief Rahardjo revealed that the program to build 1 million apartments per year in urban areas from President and Vice President-elect Prabowo-Gibran can help the millennial generation and Gen Z have affordable housing in urban areas.
“The program to build 1 million apartments per year in urban areas from President-elect Prabowo Subianto and Vice President-elect Gibran Rakabuming Raka can help the millennial and Gen Z generations have affordable housing in urban areas,” said Arief.
According to Arief, assuming that this apartment project can be developed on land owned by BUMN and with a certain cooperation scheme, it can reduce land costs to be cheaper, which will ultimately make the selling/rental price of apartment units cheaper.
In addition, Prabowo’s 1 million apartments program also aims to improve access to public transportation by building apartments near public transportation networks.
“Prabowo’s 1 million apartment program also aims to improve access to public transportation by building apartments near public transportation networks,” he said.
“This program also improves the comfort of life for productive age workers who are dominated by the millennial and Gen Z generations,” he added.
On the other hand, Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Bambang Soesatyo said that his party supports the plan of President-elect Prabowo Subianto to continue the industrial and natural resource downstreaming program.
“Through the downstreaming program, Indonesia’s abundant natural resources must be managed and processed as well as possible in Indonesia,” added Bambang.
“The industrial downstreaming strategy carried out by President Joko Widodo has also proven to provide very positive results. One proof is that there has been a very rapid increase in investment value in the non-oil and gas processing industry sector in the last decade,” he explained.
Then, the Head of Gibran Post, Benny Hutapea added that Gibran Post is an initiative to build regional support by utilizing the potential of the Millennial Generation and Gen Z through modernization and innovation.
“This program aims to create a professional young generation, able to support the national downstream program, and integrate with regional development programs to drive the local economy and increase Regional Original Income (PAD),” said Benny.
“This program also includes several main initiatives. First, Millennial-Owned Enterprises (BUMM). As a business exploration space for millennials and gen z, BUMM provides a medium to optimize regional potential through business modernization and innovation that is synchronized with the RPJMN and RPJMD. Second, millennial experts,” he said.
By implementing various leading Prabowo-Gibran programs, it is hoped that the economic ratio and public welfare can be increased because the country needs concrete breakthroughs in national development efforts.
