PYCH Building The Government’s Rapid Program Develops the Potential of Young People in Papua
Papua – The Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH) building being built in Jayapura is now ready to be inaugurated directly by President Joko Widodo. The building, which was built with the concept of green building and traditional nuances, is expected to be a means of developing all the potential of the younger generation of children in Cenderawasih Earth.
The construction of the PYCH Building has now been completed. It is known, the Papua Youth Creative Hub building was handed over from the Ministry of PUPR (Public Works and Public Housing) to BIN (State Intelligence Agency). However, the management of the PYCH building will be handed over to PMI and supervised by Deputy IV BIN for Economic Intelligence Dr. Made Kartikajaya.
Previously, the Papua Youth Creative Hub Building had been widely used by the younger generation, such as the Inspiring Young Papua (PMI) which held the Soundphoria Kids auditions, this pre-event audition was to develop and channel the talents of Papuan children, Soundphoria was an audition looking for singing talent from an early age. 7 – 12 years.
Paulina Ruwayari as the person in charge of one of the pre-events said that she was very happy and enthusiastic. He also expressed his great gratitude to President Jokowi and the Head of BIN for the support in the construction of the Papua Youth Creative Hub Building, as well as all the programs that have been carried out and have had an impact and been felt by young Papuans.
Even Paulina also invited Papuan youths to take advantage of the Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH) building in carrying out self-development to become the nation’s prime seed, because the Papua Youth Creative Hub building will indeed be utilized by the Papua Youth Inspiring (PMI) whose task is to to uphold the new enthusiasm for young people on Cenderawasih Earth. Through this organization, it is hoped that the younger generation in the land of Papua can have the potential for their brilliant ideas to quickly realize people’s welfare.
Not only that, the Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH) building has also been used by Inspirational Young Papua (PMI) in collaboration with the Worship Everywhere community for religious events and spiritual concerts with the theme Jayapura Worship Festival Victory Night and attended by hundreds of residents.
The construction of the Papua Youth Creative Hub building is very grand. Not only is it magnificent, but this building also has traditional Papuan nuances and has complete facilities for Papuan youth to enjoy in various fields, namely culinary, health, beauty, culture, language, hospitality, research, technology, entrepreneurship, industry creative, digital, education and literacy.
Part of this building consists of the main building, dormitory building, utility building, landscaping, sports field, parking and guard post. Even the roof design of the main building was inspired by the traditional houses of the people of Jayapura and Wamena City, namely the Honai roof and the Kariwari roof. This building has also been inspected one by one the rooms and fields to the completeness of the facilities throughout the building.
On an area of 15 thousand square meters the Papua Youth Creative Hub building was built, with a main building area of 3,520 square meters and supporting buildings of 1,812 square meters. This building has a parking area with a capacity of 53 cars, 154 motorbikes, and landscapes.
It turns out that inside the building there is also a room in the form of a tribune which has a capacity of up to 300 people which can be used for activities, for traditional, religious and other events. The Papua Youth Creative Hub building is also equipped with CCTV, a control room and even internet with speeds of up to 100 Mbps.
Inspiring Young Papua expressed its gratitude to President Joko Widodo and BIN Chief Gen. Pol (Purn) Budi Gunawan regarding the construction of the Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH) building.
The Secretary of the Young Inspiring Papua (PMI) of Papua Province, Vitha Faidiban representing the Inspiring Young Papua (PMI) said thanks to Mr. President Jokowi and the Head of BIN General Pol (Purn) Budi Gunawan, for their kindness and love for the Land of Papua, so that they were given the opportunity to occupy the building this, to be able to innovate, to provide the best work for the Land of Papua and for Indonesia.
A similar sentiment was conveyed by the Inspiring Young Papua Coordinator or PMI for the Fakfak region, Abdul Wahab Iha. According to him, the existence of assistance by BIN through the PMI program is very beneficial for the community, especially through cattle breeding activities. In the Fak-Fak area, cattle were previously only released into the wild, so their growth was not optimal and they often disrupted traffic. Now, he and PMI in the Fak Fak area have set up a beef workshop so that cattle farming can be managed and the benefits can be enjoyed together.
Reflecting on the story above, it is hoped that the construction of the Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH) building can become a locomotive for change and facilitate the means of advancing the potential of Papuan children with many capable facilities to make it even easier for the welfare of the Papuan people. Not only that, from the construction of the Papua Youth Creative Hub building, we can see that the government has been present for the people of Papua, especially indigenous Papuans (OAP). This phenomenon shows that Papua is an inseparable part of Indonesia and the government has made every effort to advance and prosper the people of Papua.
