Yogyakarta — Plt. The PPP chairman, Muhamad Mardiono stated that one of the Rapimnas agendas was to ensure how all cadres were prepared for the upcoming 2024 democratic party.
“One of the meeting agendas is to ensure that the preparations of all PPP cadres in facing the 2024 election contestation are going well, both administratively and technically,” he said in Yogyakarta, Tuesday (25/4)
Not only that, but Mardiono also revealed that the holding of the PPP Rapimnas would also announce the party’s political stance on all the recent political dynamics.
“Apart from that, this meeting also followed up PPP’s political stance in dealing with national political dynamics, starting from the political issues of open/closed elections, the issue of postponing elections,” he said.
“As well as issues that are currently being the concern of many groups, namely the Presidential Candidates and Vice Presidential Candidates,” continued Mardiono.
He emphasized that now PPP’s position is very open regarding the 2024 election, including its support for the presidential and vice presidential candidates who will advance.
“PPP is currently very open in contesting the 2024 Election, including in supporting the 2024 Presidential and Vice Presidential candidacy,” he said.
The Plt Ketum PPP also invited all parties to be able to work together in order to achieve good together when facing any political changes that could still occur in the future.
“With the dynamics of national politics which are currently running very dynamically, we must be ready to cooperate with internal and external parties for common goals for the sake of progress and mutual benefit,” he concluded.
He also advised the cadres who had been prepared to run as candidates to have a more mature preparation.
“It is hoped that cadres who have prepared themselves to advance as members of the legislature have also prepared themselves thoroughly,” he appealed.
All preparations made by the PPP Party itself aim to regain the glory of the party and win the party.
“The DPP’s main concern is preparing Legislative Candidates (Bacaleg) from the levels of the DPR RI, DPD, Provincial DPRD, to Regency/City DPRD so that PPP is able to reclaim victory and glory,” said Mardiono.
In the same vein, PPP Secretary General Arwani Thomafi revealed that what currently needs to be watched is the development of the pair that will advance in the 2024 Presidential Election.
“Several names of figures have been officially declared by political parties as presidential candidates.” he explained.
Thus, added Arwani, in addition to preparing legislative candidates, PPP must also prepare presidential and vice presidential candidates.
“PPP, which is currently part of the United Indonesia Coalition, PPP must also take strategic steps so as not to lose momentum,” explained the Secretary General of PPP.
