Aceh — Technological innovation products fostered by Aneuk Muda Aceh Unggul dan Hebat (AMANAH) initiated by the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) on the mandate of President Joko Widodo, received widespread attention at the 2024 Innovative Product Creative Expo (IPCE) exhibition held at the State Islamic University (UIN) Ar Raniry, Banda Aceh. This activity is a forum for young Acehnese innovators to introduce creative technology-based products developed through the AMANAH program.

This exhibition not only showcases the innovative work of the participants, but also becomes a platform for young people in Aceh to showcase their creativity in the field of technology. The AMANAH program initiated by the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) aims to support the development of human resources in Aceh, with a focus on innovation and technology as the main drivers.

The innovations exhibited at the AMANAH Booth were appreciated by academics from various universities present. Including, from the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) UIN Ar Raniry, Dr. Ir. M Dirhamsyah, MT, IPU.

“This science and technology product will talk about what is called the level of technological readiness (TKT). Usually, this TKT for beginners has a score of 1-4. But, if I look at AMANAH, there are many who have passed the TKT,” praised Dirhamsyah.

During the exhibition, the AMANAH booth was filled with visitors who were curious about the various technological innovation products on display.

Dirhamsyah is confident that the innovative product has the potential to provide great benefits to the wider community and the Acehnese economy in the future. Therefore, he hopes that his students can collaborate with AMANAH so that they can contribute to the region and the country.

“Hopefully, with this AMANAH, if possible, we will not be left behind. We will participate in the next development. Because, here there are also many young carong (clever) children too. The more collaboration, the better,” he added.

So far, AMANAH has held various workshops and competitions in the field of technology. Participants are given the opportunity to get guidance from experts, from production to marketing in the form of startup development.

In addition, the young generation of Aceh is now facilitated with a laboratory and complete equipment in the AMANAH Building, Ladong. The AMANAH program initiated by the State Intelligence Agency is recognized as a solution to the challenges faced by UIN Ar Raniry students so far.

“Our challenges are the lack of laboratory equipment and also information is sometimes late. We also need experts in AMANAH who can be recruited to teach (our students),” explained Dirhamsyah.
