The Aneuk Muda Aceh Excellent and Great (AMANAH) program continues to encourage Aceh’s young generation to innovate. One of AMANAH’s newest initiatives, is handicraft training at Fitri Souvenir located in Garot Village, Indrajaya District, Pidie Regency, Aceh Province, which is clear evidence of its commitment to empowering Acehnese youth. This area has been known as a center for typical Acehnese handicrafts from the past until now. Through this training, AMANAH not only provides practical skills to participants, but also inspires them to innovate and exploit existing local potential.
Handicraft training held in Pidie is not just an opportunity to learn new skills. More than that, this training is a forum for Aceh’s young generation to hone their innovation and product marketing skills. In this training, participants are introduced to modern techniques in processing local materials into products that have high selling value. Participants are also taught about the importance of utilizing digital platforms to market products, so they are able to compete in a wider market.
Fitriani, a local craftsman from Pidie Regency, Aceh Province, is grateful for the AMANAH Program where the craftsmen have gained many skills from the training held. Fitriani and other friends are now increasingly able to compete with superior products. According to him, the support from AMANAH is also very large and meaningful.
Initiatives like this are very important for Acehnese youth. In the midst of increasingly rapid developments, the ability to innovate and market products effectively is the key to success. With the right skills, young people can create job opportunities for themselves and even others. So this is very relevant, considering the large potential of natural and cultural resources in Aceh that have not been fully utilized.

The AMANAH program also emphasizes the importance of economic independence for Aceh’s young generation. In this training, participants are taught not only to depend on formal work, but also to be able to create their own business opportunities. Economic independence is important in efforts to reduce unemployment and improve community welfare. When Acehnese youth have sufficient skills and have the courage to become entrepreneurs, they will become the driving force of the local economy.
The Aneuk Muda Aceh Excellent Program (AMANAH) recently also held a One Day Content Creator Class with the aim of maximizing the creative potential of Acehnese youth. This event presents Daffa Urrofi, a talented content creator who has extensive experience in his field. In a session held at Syiah Kuala University (USK) Banda Aceh, Daffa provided an in-depth understanding of creating, writing, shooting, and the content editing process. Daffa’s presence at this event was an important momentum for participants to learn directly from practitioners who have been successful in the creative industry.
According to Daffa, Acehnese youth have enormous talent and creativity, supported by rich history, natural beauty and rich culture. However, the biggest challenge is how to maximize this potential into interesting and relevant content.
Apart from Daffa, this event also presented two other speakers, namely Belli Bel Fatjerri and Teuku Mail. Belli Bel, who is known as a videographer, graphic designer and filmmaker from Aceh, also shared his experience in managing a podcast channel and establishing the University Project creative community. Teuku Mail, who is known for his parody videos and has now also entered the world of music, added to the enthusiasm of the event with stories of his creative journey. The presence of these speakers provided valuable insight for participants to develop skills and networks in the world of digital content.
Daffa appreciated that the AMANAH Program, which is fostered by the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), is a superior initiative that is in line with the government’s commitment to developing the potential of the younger generation.
Through the AMANAH Program, Acehnese youth not only learn to produce products, but also learn to become strong entrepreneurs. With support from AMANAH, in the future more Acehnese youth will be inspired to start their own businesses, build networks, and create new jobs which will certainly have a positive impact on the regional economy and ultimately improve the welfare of the people of Aceh.
Through a series of trainings in the AMANAH Program, the younger generation is invited to love and be proud of Aceh’s own culture and values. Because not only do you learn technical skills, but you also understand how culture can be a source of inspiration and strength in innovation. In this way, we not only create products with high selling value, but also keep Aceh’s cultural heritage alive and widely known.
The success of the AMANAH program cannot be separated from the support of various parties, from local governments, community organizations, to local entrepreneurs. Good collaboration between various elements of society is the main key in achieving the goals of this program. With continued support, AMANAH will be able to produce more superior and great young generations in Aceh.
However, challenges remain, so more efforts are needed to reach Acehnese youth in remote areas who may not have had the same opportunities. The AMANAH program must continue to develop and adapt to the needs of the times, so that it can provide a broader and more even impact.
