Steve Mara: Youth Play an Important Role in Maintaining the Continuity of the Program Towards a Golden Indonesia 2045
Jakarta – Chairman of the Melanesian Youth Diplomacy Forum, Steve Mara, emphasized the importance of program continuity in the national leadership transition as well as the strategic role of youth in guarding the grand vision towards a Golden Indonesia 2045. In his statement, Mara revealed that the work program had been planned by President Jokowi during his two terms of leadership. will be continued by President-elect Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
“Of course, if we look at the vision and mission, there is program continuity. “If we look at the work program carried out by the previous President Jokowi, in the last two periods and I see that the vision and mission of President Prabowo and Vice President Gibran that will be carried out in the future has continuity, which means there will be a continued work program,” said Mara.
He emphasized that continuity is very important to ensure that the programs that have been designed can run well. According to him, this is not only limited to physical development, but also covers various other strategic areas. Apart from that, Mara revealed that youth involvement in this process is an aspect that cannot be ignored.
“And here we see that the role of youth is very important in overseeing every work program that President Prabowo has planned,” continued Mara.
According to him, the role of youth in overseeing these programs is not only limited to supervision, but also serves as a reminder to the government if there are programs that have not been implemented according to plan. Youth involvement, according to Mara, can be a driving force so that planned programs can be implemented well.
“Youth can take an important role in overseeing every work program. If it has not been implemented, we can remind the government that it must be implemented,” he stressed.
Furthermore, Mara emphasized that youth must also be actively involved in the programs that have been implemented, because their role is very crucial in preparing Indonesia towards a Golden Indonesia 2045.
“Once it has been implemented, we young people can take a role in being involved in every work program. “Because of course each of these work programs will talk about how to prepare the Indonesian country towards a Golden Indonesia 2045,” added Mara.
He also emphasized that today’s young generation has a big responsibility in ensuring the readiness of the Indonesian nation towards a glorious future. The active participation of youth, both in monitoring and implementing the program, is an important key to ensuring that they will become an integral part of the grand vision of Golden Indonesia 2045.
“And today’s young people have an important role. When we are ready, then we will be part of Golden Indonesia 2045,” concluded Mara.
In this way, Mara invites all Indonesian youth to continue to play an active role in overseeing the continuity of government work programs, as well as taking a real role in building the nation’s future.
