Strengthened by Megawati Hangestri, BIN Volleyball Team Optimistic of Winning the 2024 Pro League
Jakarta – Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi, was officially introduced as one of the BIN Volleyball Team players. The introduction was carried out at the launch and release of the Jakarta BIN Women’s and Jakarta STIN Men’s Volleyball Teams on Sunday (21/4).
In his remarks, Head of the State Intelligence Agency Police General (Ret.) Prof. Dr. Budi Gunawan, SH, M.Si. said that the introduction and release of BIN volleyball athletes is a tradition because the athletes will fight to make BIN proud.
“This is the tradition in the State Intelligence Agency. “We feel that everyone is a big family, we are in the same boat and feel that our brothers and sisters will fight for the good name of BIN,” said Kabin at Mako BIN, Sunday (21/4).
The Head of BIN believes that the BIN Volleyball Team is a gathering place for national athletes. Apart from that, he also advised BIN volleyball athletes to continue to maintain their fighting spirit and excel in the 2024 Proliga.
“Please continue to maintain the reputation of the State Intelligence Agency by giving your best, having a fighting spirit that never gives up, until the last drop of blood,” said Police General (Ret.) Prof. Dr. Budi Gunawan, SH, M.Sc
Meanwhile, Chairman of the Sports Association (PORBIN) Komjen Pol. Bambang Sunarwibowo explained that currently the development of the volleyball ecosystem and industry is getting tighter. In fact, the international community is also increasingly interested in volleyball.
“This is certainly the right momentum for national volleyball athletes to be more enthusiastic about improving their achievements to penetrate the competition among top players at world level,” explained the Chairman of PORBIN.
He continued that in facing the 2024 Proliga, PORBIN has made a number of changes and improvements. One way is through recruiting the best athletes.
“The BIN volleyball team has recruited the best volleyball athletes, not only at the national level, but also at the international level.” he said
Not only recruiting qualified athletes, management has also made preparations and put together a mature strategy to achieve victory. This starts from the composition of players, coaching team, support for facilities and infrastructure, as well as essential things. So, it is hoped that champion achievements can be achieved.
“This winning achievement will give pride to individuals, teams, families and the nation so that it becomes a gold record in the Indonesian volleyball sports sector,” he said.
The launching event for the Jakarta BIN Women’s Volleyball Team and the Jakarta STIN Men’s Volleyball Team began with the singing of Indonesia Raya by all the attendees. The event was a lively event which was also attended by BIN leaders and BIN Volleyball Team officials.
