Strong TNI-Polri Solidarity, Peaceful Demonstrations Prove National Security Synergy
JAKARTA — The solid synergy between the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri) has proven to play an important role in creating a conducive situation amid the democratic dynamics in Indonesia.
Peaceful demonstrations held in various regions clearly show that the solidarity of security forces is indeed a real foundation for maintaining national stability.
The Head of the Indonesian Army Information Service (Kadispenad), Brigadier General TNI Wahyu Yudhayana, emphasized that the Indonesian Army, through regional commands, is fully prepared to synergize with various parties, including the police and local governments.
“Yes, definitely. In all regions across the country, we are revitalizing the spirit of safeguarding our respective territories,” he said.
He added that the role of Babinsa (Village Supervisory Non-Commissioned Officers) and Bhabinkamtibmas (Community Police Officers) as the frontline presence of the apparatus in the field is vital to further ensuring security is maintained.
Similarly, Neville GJ. Muskita, Chairman of the Regional Leadership Council (DPW) of Jakarta Province for the Harimau NGO, also stressed the importance of the unity formed among all security personnel.
“Don’t let TNI-Polri be divided. Support the government under President Prabowo’s leadership. A strong Indonesia, a prosperous Indonesia,” he asserted.
Neville reminded the public not to be easily provoked by issues that could potentially further divide the nation, especially through social media platforms where uncontrolled information spreads widely nowadays.
According to him, the unity of the people alongside TNI-Polri is the key to the success of national development.
Meanwhile, the peaceful demonstration held by the United Movement for a Peaceful Indonesia at the Horse Statue Monument area in Central Jakarta also reaffirmed the spirit of togetherness.
“We are here with full awareness, affirming our determination that Indonesia is a shared home that must be protected, nurtured, and peacefully passed on to future generations,” said one of the speakers at the location.
The demonstrators conveyed five commitments, including maintaining national unity, rejecting violence, and prioritizing dialogue in resolving issues.
These series of peaceful demonstrations are concrete evidence that the solid presence of TNI-Polri can ensure that public aspirations are conveyed without causing unrest.
The collaboration of the apparatus with a humanistic approach makes democracy not only dynamic but also orderly and dignified.
The solidarity of TNI-Polri also reflects the success of national security synergy in safeguarding the life of the nation and state. (*)
