The democratic party to elect regional leaders or the 2024 Regional Head Election (Pilkada) will soon be held simultaneously on November 27 2024 in a number of regions in Indonesia. This agenda cannot be implemented properly without cooperation from all elements of society, including existing institutions or institutions. Therefore, synergy between agencies is very necessary to ensure that the 2024 regional elections can run safely.The implementation of Pilkada has been regulated based on Law (UU) Number 6 of 2020 concerning the Election of Governors, Regents and Mayors into law. The implementation of the Pilkada is regulated by the General Election Commission (KPU) and assisted by the General Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu).Various activities have been carried out by a number of agencies to prepare for the 2024 regional elections so that they are safe and smooth. One of them is the Bantul Resort Police, Special Region of Yogyakarta together with Kodim 0729/Bantul holding joint sports to strengthen friendship and increase synergy between the two state institutions ahead of securing the simultaneous Regional Head Elections (Pilkada) in 2024.Bantul Police Chief AKBP Michael R. Risakotta expressed his gratitude for the synergy that has existed between the Police, Kodim and Brimob for securing the 2024 Election. Many contributions have been made so that the Bantul Police can carry out security for the last election well, so that the situation in Bantul Regency is up to par. currently in a conducive situation.The Bantul Police Chief also asked Babinsa and Bhabinkamtibmas at the lower level to always work together by improving communication and coordination in carrying out their duties, because communication between parties is important. That way, problems, suggestions, criticism, input can be accepted and discussed and the best solution can be obtained.Maluku Regional Police Chief Inspector General Drs. Lotharia Latif SH., M.Hum also gave his response regarding the 2024 Pilkada at the Maluku Province Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda) Coordination Meeting (Rakor) which was held in the hall of the Santika Hotel, Ambon City. The coordination meeting held by the Regional Government of Maluku Province discussed the regional government’s readiness to support the implementation of the simultaneous Regional Head-Deputy Regional Head Election (Pilkada) in 2024.Maluku Regional Police Chief Inspector General Lotharia Latif asked all elements of the Maluku Forkopimda and all related officials in the Maluku region to be synergistic, solid and neutral. This is to ensure that the regional elections run safely and peacefully, as well as producing quality regional heads in Maluku.On the other hand, the Regional Police Chief also said that in politics everything can run dynamically. Differences in politics are normal and always dynamic, the main thing is that all parties provide polite, cool and intelligent political lessons to the public. Knitting togetherness and brotherhood in unity and unity must be maintained to develop Maluku.Ahead of the democratic party in Maluku, the Regional Police Chief again reminded Polri, TNI and Regional Government personnel to always collaborate in creating a conducive security and social security situation. This is very important to do so that the implementation of the Maluku Regional Election can run well and smoothly.Inspector General Latif hopes that the Pilkada organizers can ensure the readiness of their personnel according to existing Procedures to minimize complaints in the field due to members who do not understand. He also asked to ensure that election logistics remain safe and that distribution in the field can also run smoothly and quickly.Meanwhile, for the sake of security and comfort during the 2024 simultaneous regional elections, the Malang City Police are also collaborating with the local Forkopimda to carry out city security simulation activities (Sispamkota). This was done in order to face contingencies in the Malang City area. This Sispamkota was carried out at Malang City Hall and was attended by 500 personnel, both from the TNI – Polri, Satpol PP, KPU, and Bawaslu.Malang City Police Chief Commissioner Budi Hermanto said that this synergy was a good and strong thing, especially to prepare for conducive regional election security.This activity is carried out to reduce or anticipate potential vulnerabilities that could occur at any time, especially during elections. With the existence of Sispamkota, it is hoped that all joint personnel from the units involved will be ready with their strategies when the unexpected happens.The Malang City Police, which is synergizing with related units, hopes to continue to build good communication to continue to be able to predict bad things happening because this is all to create a conducive Malang City.The commitment of various agencies working together to prepare for the smooth running of the 2024 regional elections should be appreciated by all parties. With this good cooperation, it is certain that the 2024 Pilkada will run safely and all potential problems can be anticipated as much as possible. For this reason, the entire community also needs to participate in supporting the efforts of agencies in ensuring that the 2024 Pilkada runs safely from preparation to the end of implementation.
