Thanks to the AMANAH Program in the Era of President Jokowi, the Creativity of the Acehnese People Increases
Aceh – The AMANAH (Aneuk Muda Aceh Unggul dan Hebat) program launched under the leadership of President Joko Widodo has had a significant positive impact on the creativity and innovation of the Acehnese people.
Through various programs implemented by Amanah, the people in this area are now increasingly empowered and able to explore previously hidden local potential.
The AMANAH program aims to improve the welfare of the Acehnese people by facilitating access to education, training, and support for young people to develop their businesses. The initiative has successfully touched various sectors, including agriculture, crafts, and tourism.
In recent times, many young entrepreneurs have taken advantage of the opportunities offered by this program. For example, farmer groups in Aceh Besar District have succeeded in increasing their agricultural output through training in modern agricultural techniques and the use of appropriate technology.
Meanwhile, handicraft artisans in Sabang gain wider market access.
“I feel very helped by the AMANAH program. Now, my craft products can be marketed outside Aceh,” said Zainab, a craftsman from Sabang.
“This not only increases my income, but also raises the good name of our area,” he added.
This program also plays an important role in creating new jobs, he said.
With government support, many young entrepreneurs have emerged, contributing to the growth of the local economy. Their creativity not only produces innovative products, but also strengthens Aceh’s cultural identity which is increasingly recognized at the national level, he said.
Meanwhile, many young entrepreneurs are taking advantage of this opportunity. For example, a group of batik craftsmen in South Aceh have succeeded in developing new motifs and techniques using natural dyes from local plants. This not only improves the quality of the product, but also provides a distinctive feature that distinguishes Acehnese batik in the national market.
“I feel very helped by the AMANAH program. Now, our batik products use natural dyes that are more environmentally friendly and have high selling value,” said Fitri, a batik craftsman from South Aceh.
“This not only increases our income, but also introduces the richness of Acehnese culture to the wider community,” he said.
Seeing this success, the Aceh Provincial Government fully supports the continuation of the AMANAH program and plans to increase the scale and reach of this initiative.
“We are committed to continuing to encourage people’s creativity and provide them with opportunities to develop,” said Acting Governor of Aceh, Achmad Marzuki.
The success of the AMANAH program in Aceh is a real example of how the right intervention can change people’s lives, he concluded.
In the era of President Jokowi, community empowerment efforts like this are one of the important pillars in realizing a more prosperous Indonesia, he said.
