The Inauguration of the AMANAH Building by the President Will Be Enlivened by Colossal Dance and Aceh Fashion Show

In September, the Aneuk Muda Aceh Unggul Hebat (AMANAH) Building will be inaugurated by President Joko Widodo. This event is expected to be a historic moment for Aceh, not only celebrating economic revival, but also showcasing impressive cultural richness. The AMANAH Building is expected to become a center for arts and culture that strengthens Aceh’s identity and opens up opportunities for the local community.
After the successful construction of the AMANAH Building and receiving praise from various parties, the AMANAH Building will finally be inaugurated as soon as possible.
The enthusiasm of the Acehnese people was very much felt ahead of this event. Safna Khairati from Sanggar Ceudah Rupa, one of the audition participants, felt very proud to be able to perform the Ranup Lampuan dance in front of President Jokowi. This dance, which is often used to welcome important guests, will present the ritual of picking, making, and serving betel as a symbol of a warm welcome from the Acehnese people.
Denny Malik, a judge for the dance audition, explained that the dance performance for the inauguration of the AMANAH Building will combine elements of traditional and modern dance. Denny said that he wanted to combine all aspects of existing arts and culture, both traditional dance and new creations. Everything will be combined.
Previously, AMANAH had opened online registration to take part in the dancer audition. The requirements for dancer audition participants include being 16-30 years old and open to both men and women. The dancers are selected by experts in their fields such as Denny Malik, Mira Natalia, Melissa Franklien Regina, Agustinus Dwi Kriswanto, Asep Nugraha and Furqon Azamsyah. In addition, they also work together to design the concept of their performance later.
Around 500 dancers, aged 16-30 years, will participate in the event. They will perform a colossal dance at the opening of the AMANAH Building and hope to be able to choose the best from the audition participants.
On that occasion, the training participants were introduced to the coaching team involving various coaches from the national and local levels. Zunaidillah, who is familiarly called Aidil, is one of the dance coaches from Aceh who participated in this training. With their experience and expertise, Aidil and the other coaching team are ready to prepare the participants to perform at the upcoming AMANAH Building inauguration event.
On August 24, 2024, the joint training program for the AMANAH activity officially began with great enthusiasm. According to Zunaidillah Zakaria, one of the dance trainers, the joint training program went very well and will be carried out for the next few days. The enthusiasm and dedication shown by the participants and trainers in this training session reflect the high readiness and enthusiasm in supporting the success of the AMANAH event. This training is expected to strengthen the preparation of the participants to present a stunning performance at the inauguration of the AMANAH Building and show the richness of Acehnese culture to the public.
In preparation for the inauguration of the AMANAH Building, Denny Malik emphasized that the performance will integrate modern and innovative elements while still preserving Acehnese traditions. With the concept of combining all aspects of Acehnese culture with a modern and creative touch, but still adhering to existing traditions as the basis for developing art. The AMANAH program serves as a platform for the young generation of Aceh to express their creativity and talents. Denny hopes that AMANAH can strengthen the potential of Acehnese youth and give them the opportunity to excel and AMANAH is the place.
In a limited time, the trainers and dancers face a tough task. The challenges are significant, especially with limited preparation time. Even so, they remain optimistic that with the short preparation time, the enthusiasm and dedication of the participants are expected to produce a stunning performance and meet expectations in the inauguration of the AMANAH Building.
This inauguration event will also present a fashion show by young Acehnese designers who have been fostered through the AMANAH program. With careful preparation and high enthusiasm, this event is expected to strengthen Acehnese cultural identity and pave the way for a brighter future for the people of Aceh. Because, AMANAH has become a place for the young generation of Aceh to express themselves and create. Denny added, if the superior program is expected to develop the potential of youth in Aceh and his party has the duty and obligation to support young people in Indonesia, especially Aceh. The young generation to dare to explore, dare to express themselves, create. So, AMANAH is the place for them to excel.
The inauguration of the new AMANAH building in Aceh marks an important historical moment in the efforts to develop the potential of youth in Aceh.
