The Indonesiasentris Foundation urges the public to curb demonstrations and prioritize national interests
Jakarta, In order to create a conducive and stable atmosphere amidst the growing social dynamics, the Indonesiasentris Foundation issued an appeal to all elements of society to reduce anarchic demonstrations and prioritize national interests.
The Indonesiasentris Foundation, an organization committed to community development and strengthening democratic values, recognizes that demonstrations are an integral part of democratic expression. However, in certain situations, demonstrations can lead to tension, unrest, and division within society.
“Our society is currently facing various major challenges, from post-pandemic economic recovery to social issues and political issues that require collective attention and solutions. We invite all parties to focus more on constructive dialogue and collaborative efforts that will benefit the nation’s progress,” said Alfi Rahmadi, Founder of the Indonesiasentris Foundation, to the media in Jakarta on Saturday, August 30, 2025.
The Indonesiasentris Foundation believes that in an effort to build a harmonious society, it is crucial to encourage active community involvement in the process of discussion and problem solving, rather than dampening the spirit of unity with actions that could disrupt public order.
“We invite all elements of the nation, including the government, civil society organizations, and individuals, to work together to formulate more effective steps to address the problems facing this nation. Open dialogue and mutual listening are key to achieving sustainable solutions,” he explained.
The Indonesiasentris Foundation also plans to hold a series of public discussions in the near future, involving various stakeholders, to discuss the best ways to address existing challenges and prioritize national interests.
“Let us maintain the integrity and unity of the nation and work together to create a better Indonesia for all. We are a great nation, and we must face the challenges together,” Alfi Rahmadi concluded.
