Jayapura – The Papua Youth Creative Hub or PYCH building in Jayapura Papua, which President Joko Widodo will soon inaugurate, has received appreciation from the Youth who are members of the Inspiring Young Papua (PMI). This building will later be used by PMI in carrying out its work program to help accelerate the improvement of people’s welfare in Cenderawasih Earth.
PMI Secretary for Papua Province, Vitha Faidiban said, the PYCH building was extraordinary and able to help young Papuans continue to be creative and innovate.
“With the presence of this building, it will help the young generation of Papua to make many works and do everything they can for the good of all people in the Land of Papua,” said Vitha.
Inspiring Young Papua expressed its gratitude to the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo and the Head of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) General Pol (Purn) Budi Gunawan, for all the support given to PMI in terms of the realization of the work program to the construction of the PYCH building.
“Thank you to President Jokowi and the Head of BIN for the support in the construction of the PYCH building and all the programs experienced by young Papuans,” said Papua Youth Representative, Paulina Ruwayari.
He also invited young Papuans to take advantage of this magnificent building with complete facilities to develop themselves.
In line with Paulina, one of the founders of PMI, George Sea, also expressed his gratitude and gave his support to President Joko Widodo for the construction of PYCH.
“I express my deep appreciation for President Jokowi’s concern with building the Papua Youth Creative Hub,” said George.
George explained, PMI is an organization to develop the potential of Indigenous Papuans (OAP) and help improve the welfare of the Papuan people.
PYCH itself is a place for young Papuans to channel their talents. PMI will later collaborate in self-development with the assistance and guidance of BIN.
In this case, BIN has initiated the construction of the PYCH Building so that the young generation of Papua can increase their creativity. Meanwhile, PMI itself is an organization assisted by BIN whose task is to bring new enthusiasm to young people in the Land of Papua.
PMI will later occupy PYCH and teach information technology and use it for self-development and doing business on an international scale, so that it will lead to community welfare.
The realization of people’s welfare in the Land of Papua is also in accordance with Presidential Instruction No. 9 of 2020 concerning the Acceleration of Welfare Development in Papua and West Papua Provinces.
