The Youth Pledge is the Government’s Momentum to Create Superior Human Resources

Jakarta, suaradewata.com – The commemoration of Youth Pledge Day on October 28th marks a crucial moment for the administration of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka to accelerate the development of superior human resources. The government continues to accelerate the national internship program to create a resilient young generation capable of competing amidst global uncertainty.
Monday (October 20, 2025) marked the first day of the Batch I National Internship Program for College Graduates, a program that offers internships paid at the city/district minimum wage. The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) recorded that 1,668 companies registered, with a total of 26,181 proposed internship positions.
Manpower Minister Yassierli said the government created a national internship program as part of its strategy to improve the quality of Indonesia’s young workforce.
The government will continue to improve the quality of life for its citizens through appropriate programs. Young workers are of productive age and capable of competing. National internships will continue to be implemented to produce competitive young people. The paid national internship program is targeted to begin in mid-November 2025.
“For Batch I, the government has opened a quota for 20,000 paid internship participants,” he said.
In this way, said Yassierli, the target of 100,000 national internship participants can be achieved in 2025.
Ahead of Youth Pledge Day, the Nabire Regency Government is again expanding its Nutritious Meal (MBG) program services by inaugurating the Siriwini 01 Nutritional Food Mobilization School Kitchen (SPPG) on Monday, October 13, 2025.
The inauguration was conducted by Nabire Deputy Regent Burhanuddin Pawennari, marking the third kitchen officially operating in the region. In his remarks, Burhanuddin expressed his pride in the program, which is part of the national policy to meet the nutritional needs of the community, particularly school-age children. He emphasized that the SPPG kitchen is not simply a place to provide food, but a tangible investment in the future of the younger generation.
“This nutritious food program isn’t just about distributing food, but rather an investment in the nation’s future. Children who grow up with adequate nutrition will become a smart, strong, and intelligent generation,” he said.
This program is expected to reach more than 870 students from three beneficiary schools, namely Al Muhajirin Kindergarten (58 students), Raudhatul Athfal Smoker Kindergarten (135 students), and Siriwini State Elementary School (677 students).
In the future, a number of programs will continue to be optimized to improve the quality of life of the younger generation in the future.*
