Jakarta—The Prabowo-Gibran administration continues to demonstrate its commitment to inclusive development by implementing policies that directly address the needs of the community. This approach not only expands access to opportunities but also strengthens local economic resilience in various regions.

Various strategic programs, such as empowering MSMEs, strengthening village production, and improving basic services, are now driving more equitable economic activity. The impact is starting to be seen in increased productivity among residents and the growth of new economic sectors at the local level.

This success is evidenced by survey results showing public satisfaction with Prabowo-Gibran’s performance. The Executive Director of the Great Institute, Dr. Sudarto, revealed that 85.8 percent of the public expressed satisfaction with the Prabowo administration’s performance in the first year.

Sudarto said this satisfaction stems from the programs and policies initiated by Prabowo, such as the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program and the Red and White Village Cooperative.

“The community directly benefits from the policies, particularly the free nutritious meal program and strengthening the village economy through cooperatives,” he said.

He also revealed the level of public satisfaction with Prabowo’s programs. For example, the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program, 89.8 percent of the public felt it was beneficial.

“71.8 percent believe the Merah Putih Village Cooperative will improve the village economy and improve access to capital. Another 71.8 percent feel their household economy has improved, and 62.1 percent say purchasing power has increased,” he said.

Tunjung Budi Utomo, Head of Advocacy for the Indonesian Farmers and Fishermen Brotherhood (PETANI), acknowledged that these two programs are a mainstay of the Prabowo-Gibran administration. Inclusivity and participation are demonstrated through the involvement of various stakeholders, including village cooperatives, farmers, fishermen, and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

“This is a real form of the people’s economy that operates at the local level,” he said.

The synergy between the MBG program and the Merah Putih Village Cooperative helps increase the income and quality of life of village communities, as production capacity increases, food quality standards improve, and new job opportunities are created.

“Now more and more people are able to work and become empowered in their own communities,” he concluded.
