TNI Commander Ensures Security Readiness for the 43rd ASEAN Summit in Jakarta
Jakarta – TNI Commander Admiral Yudo Margono ensured security for VVIPs at the 43rd ASEAN Summit (Summit) 2023 in Jakarta.
The purpose of implementing VVIP Security at the ASEAN Summit is to guarantee the security, safety and personal comfort of VVIP conference participants at any time wherever they are, as well as guarantee the security of the areas visited by VVIPs.
Yudo Margono said that securing the 43rd ASEAN Summit in Jakarta was not much different from securing the 42nd ASEAN Summit in Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) last May.
“The ASEAN Summit has already been held. So I am sure that all officers can carry out this task well, and further coordination between task forces is needed,” said Yudo.
In addition, the general chairman of the Barisan Pemuda Nusantara (Bapera) Central Leadership Council (DPP) Fahd El Fouz A Rafiq, said that security forces ensure security readiness for the 2023 ASEAN Summit in Jakarta. Through the presentation of TNI Commander Admiral Yudo in a meeting to discuss security for the 2023 ASEAN Summit.

In this activity there are several Task Forces that carry out security.
VVIP security at the ASEAN Summit was held to guarantee the security, safety and personal comfort of VVIP Conference participants at any time wherever they are, as well as guarantee the security of the areas visited by VVIPs. Unlike the 42nd Summit in Labuan Bajo, the 43rd ASEAN Summit in Jakarta was not only attended by leaders of member countries of the regional organization, but also heads of state/government from ASEAN partner countries. During the Summit, the development and strengthening of ASEAN cooperation with external partners was discussed.
