Various Elements of Balinese Society Fully Support the Organizing of the 10th WWF
The holding of the 10th World Water Forum (WWF) in Bali attracted world attention. Support from various parties, including religious leaders, young people, the community and local government is very important to ensure the smooth running of the event.
General Chair of the Religious Harmony Forum Association (FKUB), Ida Pangelingsir Agung Putra Sukahet, emphasized the importance of harmony and support from the Balinese people as the key to WWF’s success.
“We rely on tourism. The success of national and international events makes Bali increasingly known and loved as a tourism destination,” he said.
He also asked the Balinese people and tourists to fully support the success of this event for the sake of the nation and state.
Meanwhile, the General Chairperson of the Nationality and Diversity House of Pasraman Satyam Eva Jayate (Rumah KAKEK), Ketut Udi Prayudi, also expressed his support. According to him, the vision of Rumah KAKEK which cares about water issues is in line with the WWF theme, “Water for Shared Prosperity”.
“Grandfather’s House implements infiltration wells and processes organic waste into Eco Enzyme to improve water quality,” said Udi Prayudi.
Support also came from the Bali Hindu Dharma Indonesian Student Union (KMHDI). Chairman of the KMHDI Bali Regional Management, Putu Dika Adi Suantara, hopes that WWF can provide appropriate water management solutions for Bali. “It is hoped that WWF will have a sustainable positive effect on the future of water in Bali,” he said.
At the same time the KMHDI Bali Alumni Forum led by I Ketut Sae Tanju also fully supported the 10th WWF. According to him, this activity will have a positive impact on tourism and the Bali economy. “This international event has the potential to bring in investment and grants, as well as providing a quality tourism experience for delegates,” he said.
Previously, a Balinese community figure, I Gusti Ngurah Harta, confirmed that Bali was ready to hold the 10th WWF. “The situation in Bali is very conducive. “Traditional villages play an important role in maintaining security,” he said.
Ngurah Harta also appreciated the involvement of the National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT) in securing the event.
With full support from various elements of Balinese society, it is hoped that the 10th WWF will not only be successful in its implementation but will also provide long-term benefits for the management of water resources in Bali and the world.
