Welcoming Dinner at GWK Bali Highlights the Charm of the Archipelago in the 10th WWF Series of Events
Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) witnessed the glittering Welcoming Dinner event to welcome the arrival of distinguished guests from all over the world, who attended the 10th World Water Forum (WWF) High Level Conference (KTT). The charm of Indonesian culture was felt throughout the welcoming dinner event.
In an enthusiastic atmosphere, the President of the Republic of Indonesia together with a number of heads of state such as the Prime Minister (PM) of Tajikistan Qohir Rasulzoda, President Sri Lanka Ranil Wickremesinghe, and the President of Fiji Ratu Wiliame Maivalili Katonivere attended GWK which was full of excitement.
President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) also gave a speech at the 10th World Water Forum gala dinner in Bali. President Jokowi hopes that this agenda can bring a shared enthusiasm for improving the environment.
“Your excellence, good evening and welcome to Bali Indonesia. “Thank you for participating at the 10th World Water Forum and I hope the spirit of togetherness this evening can lead us to great collaboration, to ensure access for clean water and sanitation for everyone,” said Jokowi.
Jokowi also assured the guests present that this evening’s spirit of togetherness could bring the world together to create collaboration to ensure access to clean water and sanitation for all.
Apart from heads of state, UN President Dennis Francis and World Water Council (WWC) President Loic Fauchon have also joined a number of groups of heads of state and delegations representing a number of countries to watch the performance at GWK.
The magnificent Welcoming Dinner at GWK ushered in a warm atmosphere and cooperation between world leaders in facing global water challenges.
With the presence of delegates from various countries and backgrounds, it is hoped that the World Water Forum will become a stage for producing concrete solutions to overcome the increasingly worsening water crisis.
Across 283 planned sessions, including political, regional and thematic sessions, as well as high-level panels, speakers and coordinators from around the world are set to share their thoughts and experiences in dealing with crucial issues such as water security, disaster risk reduction , and innovation in water resources management.
